Star Wars Cruises announced for next year

I thought this might happen. We are booked on the 3/18/2017 sailing.

Been there, done that, not impressed.

So we're on Feb 11 2017, so we'll get to do it again. We just did the Feb 20 SWDAS cruise. And I agree, I wasn't super impressed. I hope they took our feedback on the surveys to heart and make some improvements.

We're booked on the 2/11, kind of excited about this!

I am booked on 3/11/17. I'm a Star Wars fan, and if nothing else I hope to get some cool merchandise.

We're booked on the 2/11/17 cruise! I am also super excited. We felt left out while on the Wonder the same week this year.

Just got our email that our first 2017 cruise is now SWDAS. And the price for our room went up about $1000 since we booked! Whew.

So are they going to be dropping a port day? We booked the week of 3/18 because that's when my kids have Spring Break and I was bummed to only have 2 days at sea. I have my fingers crossed that they drop one (preferably Jamaica).

We're very excited! Booked an Eastern Cruise & we're hoping this would work out.

For people who did this last time, did your kids do Jedi training? Is there fast pass, or do you just wait in line?

There are no fast passes. You just get there early and pray your child gets picked. There were many disappointed kids on our cruise.

They should ticket the Jedi training like the Frozen and princess meet & greets and run them more often! My kids couldn't care less about it, but I read about all the disappointments.

I'm curious to ask why you believe they might drop a port day? Were you sent something that indicated this? Our cruise has now turned into a SWDAS cruise too but I didn't see anywhere that indicated we might lose a port day.

Just curious...

Our SWDAS cruise this year only had two port days. The third one (Jamaica) was dropped. That's probably why the questions was asked.

this person is hoping for another sea day - nothing was said about DCL ACTUALLY dropping a port.... that's all

Thanks @TigerTown. Our cruise only has 2 port days so I would be surprised (and disappointed) if they cancelled one. I can't see them sailing the ship all the way down to Tortola/St Thomas for only 1 port. When did you find out they cancelled one of your port days?

We actually booked the SWDAS when it was announced so we knew there would be one less port day from the beginning.
