It's almost like they know how to get us excited or something ... and I am totally intrigued by the thought process/events that lead Luke to saying that last line

The line that intrigues me more is after Rey says she sees light and dark, it sounds like Luke says there is so much more.

I'm guessing he's figured out life is not black and white, and the Jedi were a lot of that.

and she mentions a "balance" ... which we know was a big part of the larger arc (with Anakin supposed to bring balance to the force ... maybe Luke realizes that with the Jedi there must be the darkness to balance so by ending the Jedi there doesn't need to be the opposite

I have a saying in the real world that fundamentalist extremism of any kind leads to bad outcomes, no matter the intention.

Since Star Wars pulls from real world issues, I'm thinking they may go down that path that both the Jedi and Sith are bad and really there needs to be a middle ground.

As an aside, notice Rey wears grey...Not white, not black, but grey...Just a thought...

Some are saying as seen in the poster Rey is the balance, Luke is the light side(good), and Kylo is the dark side(bad).

The trailers were the best part of the force awakens...particularly #3

This was good...and I've said it before (and many wiser than me)...that mark hamill is the glue...there is no pop culture phenomenon without him...period.

Which is why I have hope for this movie and hated how they handled the last one.

I've heard a theory about Rey being Anakin reincarnated. Not sure what I think about that.

Oh please no...I cant take more of the "family mystery"...because they write it for 2nd graders...

Not disputing that...but she could have gone the way of Judy garland when she was 25 as opposed to making it to 60
