Star Wars Cast Announced

Do you think the inclusion of Andy Serkis means this could be a CGI heavy film?

probably...
i figured there would be some unbelieveable cgi only character...but i wish they knock that off.

no matter how "real" they say they look...still terrible.
i'd prefer a rubber mask.

Fortunately Serkis can kill his acting as a CGI character. But I did think the same thing when I saw his inclusion. I LOVE him but am praying he's just a regular character, not cgi. Haha.

I guess we'll have to disagree on this one...

those scenes hardly hold up at all...any of them. I think i can count the good scenes/sequences in those three movies on one hand...

its the wretched script, the ridiculous cgi, and the terrible choppy cutscenes/editing...but its also that the actors morphed into the awesome terribleness that they hatched with those poorly executed movies...

roadkill on the lucas road to bucks.

(i know...here comes the "i thought they were pretty good!" counter to my statements...
i respect your opinons...one and all...i just cant support the thought process or conclusion on this one)
We'll just have to agree to disagree.

More than likely. Abrams has said he thought the prequels relied too heavily on cgi. I think they can pull off a Gollum character but to me the key would be to limit screen time.

Serkis also played Cesare in Planet of the Apes. He does a amazing job blending into a CGI character. I am betting on a Wookie for Serkis.. maybe Chewbaca's offspring?

And that comment gained him a commission as knight commander and captain of the order of obvious
