Star Wars breakfast menu at Sci Fi

OK thanks. Still trying to understand the splitting / sharing thing. I know it's a no-no at buffets and AYCTE but didn't realize character meals (although I think most are either buffets or AYCTE)! It was worth a try!
They prob won't let you share. Otherwise people could book a table to 6 order 1 meal and all 6 of you see the characters for the price of one meal. Good idea but doubt they will let you.

Since it is a prefixed menu, it is not all you can eat. I just called to verify. You think it would be for the price.....

mom2of2 do you know if you can have more of something such as bacon?

Thanks!

Carla

I may be the only one, but I'm very disappoted in those entree choices. What about something plain for those of us who like simpler foods & don't eat eggs. I guess we'll try the French toast, but hopefully they'll have some regular maple syrup instead of Carmel sauce. And no meat like bacon or sausage with that ???

Yes, I know I 'm paying for the characters, but those entree choices sound horrible to us. We won't be there for SWW, so we'll keep the ADR. But we can't be the only people who would prefer some plain old pancakes.

there will be regular syrup as well and if you want bacon or sausage..ask for it.

The menu is a reflection of the price, it just sounds fancier then it is.

I am in the boat of I know we are paying for the characters, but the menu is pretty disappointing. I feel like we are going to have a repeat of CRT where we pay a lot to see princesses and then have pay again to get something to eat after we leave because we didn't like what they had. We will prob still go, but it just feels harsh to pay $200 for the four of us and then have to buy second breakfast after.

For all those wondering, the Star Wars theme will be very obvious throughout the meal. Everything is themed from the food to the plates.

Cool! Do you know how they are going to work the characters? I heard DV located at one spot and you go to him, but how will it work with the other characters?

I'm in the same boat. DH will eat anything, but DS and I are much pickier and prefer simple choices. I'm surprised by the dis choices, the French toast is fine, but are there many 3-9 year olds who would eat the scrambled eggs? Maybe it's just the kids in my family, but I know they would all prefer a good old Mickey waffle.

I'm wondering if you can order the French toast on the adult menu plain, without the stuffing? Although I'm fairly certain DS and I will make do with the pastries, fruit and the kids French toast and DH can get two adult meals.

Do you know if it's possible to change omelet ingredients? The sound of mushrooms and onions makes me gag, but I wouldn't mind other veggies. Do we have choices, or are things pretty set?

Also, any idea if there will be any special vegetarian options? Chicken or turkey bacon or sausage? (Our family is annoyingly particular, can you tell?)

Thanks for the info. We will definately ask for bacon. Hope we can get it without an extra charge. And I really don't mean to be disagreeable, but it's not just that the entrees "sound" fancy. Half of the entrees are scrambled eggs ( including the omelet). So if you don't eat eggs, you're down to 3 choices. I have never seen shrimp & grits on a menu around here, thinking that must be a regional thing. And I can't figure out what exactly the beef sides are from your discription, but we'll be having beef for dinner @ Yachtsman's, so not getting that for breakfast too. We think of pancakes, waffles or French toast as " traditional" breakfast entrees. The only option for 1 of those is carmalized & stuffed, again, not our preference. A Mickey waffle with fruit on top would have been great- I'm sure it would have been easy to get without the topping. I'm sure we won't be able to get "unstuffed" French toast. I will be sure to give Disney feedback on the choices after our meal.

:thumbsup2. Agree!

Any word on whether there will be breakfast cocktails like mimosas or bloody Mary's?

I don't like scrambled eggs (unless quiche or omelette form), but my kids (ages 1-7) all gobble them up. Go figure.

I'll try to answer as many questions as I can.

This will be like CRT, the chefs used CRT as a template for the Sci Fi breakfast. The entrees are pre plated so you can't change ingredients, however you can change the sides. I don't know if there will be any additional vegetarian options since there are already a few on there. Asking for bacon or sausage will not cost any extra. You can't get the stuffed french toast un stuffed. There will be bellini's available and the characters will go through the dining room seeing each guest with the exception of Darth Vader.

Thank you for answering questions for us!! :thumbsup2

I'm excited about the menu! Sounds different and yummy to me. I'd rather not pay all that money for just some pancakes I could get at ihop. Lol. I know everyone has different tastes, though, and that not everyone likes eggs, so I do see why some people are disapponted. My 9 year old loves scrambled eggs....and french toast....so we're all set. Thanks for the information!
