Star Wars breakfast menu at Sci Fi

I'm in! :goodvibes There is something for everyone in our family. Honestly, we knew the price when we booked and it wasn't about the food. This is all about the *experience* for us. I think they did a great job of coming up with an interesting and creative menu.

Excited about our SW Sci Fi breakfast ADR!! After 8 trips to WDW and never tasting tonga toast, I finally made an ADR at Kona to try it during our SWW trip but now I'm wondering if the caramelized banana toast is basically the same thing. Any thoughts?

no, it's different. The only thing the same is they both have bananas...everything else is different including the compote

Here ya go!:

Star Wars Fresh baked pastries

choice of Greek yogurt parfait with fresh berries and homemade granola or seasonal fresh fruit and berries

House Smoked Salmon Scrambled Eggs- with wild mushroom potato hash, multigrain toast with goat cheese butter

Grilled Beef Tenderloin- on baby spinach with bacon and cheddar custard on a roasted tomato with cheesy horseradish potatoes

Traditional breakfast- scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and breakfast potatoes

Caramelized Banana Stuffed French Toast- caramel sauce and strawberry compote

Shrimp and Grits-smoked paprika dusted shrimp served with cheesy grits

Egg White Omelet-with shi take mushrooms and onions, garlic roasted potatoes and greek yogurt and berries

Kids

Traditional breakfast- same as adult

Puffed French Toast Sticks- tossed in cinnamon sugar with chocolate dipping sauce

Do children get the option of fruit or Greek yogurt too? My youngest Loves fruit for breakfast so she will probably mostly eat that rather than a kids entree option. Just want to make sure they are able to eat something for the price lol! :)

yes, kids get fruit and pastries

Thanks so much for posting! The menu looks great -- shrimp and grits are always a hit with our family.

Did they change the compote at Kona? Cause I could have sworn I had strawberry when I was there last year.

DV is only a photo op? :( That's DS's main request: to eat breakfast with Darth Vader. He also requested Mickey Waffles. D'oh! Maybe I will make up Star Wars nicknames for the food :)

For all those wondering, the Star Wars theme will be very obvious throughout the meal. Everything is themed from the food to the plates.

Thanks For Posting! So Excited For This Breakfast!! I Know That We Will All Enjoy It, Especially Because All Of Our Fav. "Dark Side" Characters Will Be There! :yay: :yay: :yay:

We have never done a character meal that was anything other than a buffet. How does the process work with a menu? Do you order 1 items from 2 or 3 categories? Can you order more? Just wondering.

Two questions, is this considered an AYCTE meal or single portion. AND can we share a meal here (trying to save some dining credits here so if we can share, great, otherwise I may pay partially out of pocket).

If no one knows the answer here then can I call somewhere to ask? Calling the dining ressie # leads to inconsistent results so I feel like I can't get a guaranteed answer there :)

As it's fixed price, and a character meal, most likely you cannot share (inasmuch as purchasing one meal and using it to feed multiple people, with the exception of children under age 3). At all character meals, everyone has to pay.

You could compare it to CRT, where you order from a menu - but it's fixed price, and everyone pays, no sharing a meal.

No splitting, they charge per person for character meals.

OK thanks. Still trying to understand the splitting / sharing thing. I know it's a no-no at buffets and AYCTE but didn't realize character meals (although I think most are either buffets or AYCTE)! It was worth a try!
