Can I have anyone experience on the Star Wars attraction we have fast past what type of ride is it. Would someone with anxiety have a issue with them any inclosed Spaces?
Its a simulator ride. You sit in a seat (with a seatbelt) and watch a "movie." The seats move in unison so it feels like you are flying though space, hitting things, etc.
It's an enclosed space, but it's pretty big. I'd guess there are about 50 or 60 seats in the room. Try googling "Star Tours" for more info and pictures/video.
It's definitely not as big as a movie theater room (like the kind of movie you would go see at the mall). I've never done the Simpsons ride. How many people sit in the Simpsons car? As the previous poster said, you're sitting with 50 or so people in the Star Tours room. Watch this video (it does have ride "spoilers" of one of the videos toward the end)
at around the 4:30 mark you can see the room and boarding process.
They look like regular doors but the CM opens and closes them electronically - so all members of your party need to be okay with knowing you can't just open them and leave if you get alarmed. It is an enclosed space, albeit a large one.
Your sooo great!!!! Movie style should be good and you'd aid they were regal movie like seat correct? My daughter has anxiety that why I ask these off questions thanks
I have claustrophobia. On Star Wars, I ask to sit in the last row of seats. They are rougher ride but the space to the screen makes it more rideable for me. My feet don't quite hit the floor when I sit in back. So I just rock and roll with motion.
Big simulator, bigger than ones in the mall but still a simulator.
From EasyWDW - this is entire unit, those far doors will close as will the ones right behind the camera. That garage door to left will go up and video is in there.
We were on once with a woman with issues - they don't stop the ride, FYI, even if there is someone screaming her lungs out. It was miserable for everyone. The ceiling is low in the back, and it is a borderline claustrophobic trigger for me.
