In the past, it seems they've eliminated pirate menu from all cruises with another special night. But, I bet that menu is cheaper than the captains gala. So maybe it will come back.
It also seems like people like to avoid pirate dinner and try to hit the upcharge restaurants that night, so maybe the pirate menu really is a financial boon for them.
Personally, I hope they don't change the menus.
