Are the Celebrities doing autographs able/willing to sign whatever the guest presents? For instance, I would like to get or print out photos of the person and then have that for them to sign but saw on another thread mention of them signing 'disney media' only. Does that mean just the autograph books?

Any ideas on what would be good for them to sign?

Thanks Sharon

I haven't been to SW weekends before, but people reported last year that they were only signing the pictures that you got right there. Apparently a couple celebs didn't follow that rule, though.

Last year the bigger stars wouldn't sign anything except for what MGM gave them to pass out. A black and white picture that they signed. The lesser known stars did sign other items brought in by guests. At least this is what we saw and experienced.

FYI - You have to get there before gates open and you must practically run to the tables by Indy to get a wristband for later in the day or you most likely won't get an autograph. They only take a few standbys if any. You have to have a wristband per star, so I'd advise your party split up. I saw several kids walk up last minute only to be turned away cause their parents didn't know you had to have wristbands. Very poor of MGM in my opinion. If we hadn't read about it beforehand we would not have known either. I never saw or heard anything.

We'll hit two weekends of Star Wars on our trip and thank goodness hubby agreed the stars on those days are not worth the hassle we went through last year. YIPPEE!!!

If Anthony Daniels will be there when you go he is worth it! He talked to my daughter and asked her all kinds of questions. Very nice. However, Billy Dee Williams didn't even look up at her.

Here's a link to some pics from that trip. Just scroll down a tad -

Shan, who is that in the middle picture with your dh, and dds?

mommie2angels,
This was just a WDW employee dressed up as one of the Star Wars characters. I'm not sure on the character's name, but I think she was in the big fight scene in the arena in either the first or second of the new series? She is one of the jedis. I can ask my hubby later tonight, maybe he will know or can pull it up on the databank on the Star Wars site. Between Star Tours and Sci-Fi they had spots set up to get your picture taken with various Star Wars characters throughout the day. If I recall right, we were given a schedule at the gate. My fav is one of me with Luke! LOL Wow, he was a bad Luke, but Leia was pretty good.
