So what did you think of last night's episode. It certainly seems like that wasn't the end.

They've ended up in the 1940's with the Nazis. The time line must have gotten mixed up in the expanse. Very weird.

Now we've got to wait until the Fall to see what the heck is going on.

Some good news! I just read on the UPN site that Enterprise has been picked up for another season! :teeth: They will be moving it from Wednesday to Friday night.

I wasnt sure if that was the seaosn finale or not....but i guess it was!

I love the show but do agree that I was tired of this story line.

I was so happy when they renewed it but moving it to Friday night is a death spot.... nothing does well on Fridays! It already has poor ratings.

I hope they stick to storylines that only last one or two episodes. An article I read said they would be doing that.

I think the show has potential and I enjoy it. But then again I am a HUGE Star Trek fan!!

I'm a real Star Trek fan, too, and I'm glad they have renewed the show for next year. I believe that Enterprise is the only show that I ever watch on that network. I never bothers me which night a show is on because I can record it. I do hate for something to be on Friday or Saturday because it usually gets poor ratings.

It doesn't matter about the ratings, next year is the last no matter what (well short of a ratings miracle).

Nazis!?? What is this, Galactica 1980 revisited? I didn't think the script writers could get any more desperate, but they pulled it off with this episode.

Sorry, but I gave up on Enterprise a long time ago. The writing just never seemed to get anywhere near what it was on DS9 (my favorite Trek series). I watched last night because someone told me it had gotten better, but it was yet another time travel plot with Nazis thrown in to boot. Still, I am glad they renewed it. Maybe next year they can find a way to make it work.

Maybe Capt. Archer has become a hologram sent back in time to make right, what once was wrong. Do ya think??

the nazis were definitely like the 5th time that enterprise has jumped the shark.

Maybe they will pull a "Dallas" thing and find out the Nazi thing was "all a dream".
I really thought the show was getting better but I don't watch every episode, so I had no idea what was going on.

BTW-- Who were the blue guys with the crazy antenna things?

We watch Enterprise every week, and have been waiting and waiting for it to get better. With a great actor like Scott Bakula leading the cast, they should be writing much, much better storylines.

Like a previous poster said, next season will surely be the last, short of a ratings miracle or a switch to a FANTASTIC storyline.

I wish they'd quit introducing blue antennaed aliens & giant housefly aliens. It makes the show rediculous. I have no idea how Scott Bakula keeps a straight face.

They need to get "Q" on this show, or have more interaction with aliens that are familiar to Star Trek fans. Maybe some time-traveling Borg, or a visit from some time traveling Voyager crewmembers.

Anyway, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for next season.

Those are Andorians. They have been around since the original Star Trek series, though they are used much more often in Enterprise that in any other series previously. Here is a picture of one from the original series from the 60's

I actually like them, though I must admit that that the moving antennae remind me of The Tick (the comic book hero from a short lived show on Fox last season).

Did you recognize the Andorian Captain? He is played by the same guy who played Weyoun on Deep Space Nine.

Interesting. Can you jump a shark in space? ;)

Uh, you can't have the show set in the time frame it is and not have the Andorians. They are one of the founding members of the Federation (which we are seeing Archer lay the ground work for). And I'm at least glad they are travelling back in time to find the Nazi's on Earth rather than finding the Romans/Nazi's/Gangsters/Greeks/OK Corral/etc on another planet like they did on the original series.

I have been watching ST since I was 7 (I am a total Trek fan who used to run and go to conventions, saw the original series in the late 60s, etc.), and Enterprise has been a big disappointment to me.

Bakula may be a good actor, but Archer as written has become so annoying. I love Trip, but he is overused as the go-to-guy for the few good stories we've seen. Jolene Blalok has been wretched as T'Pol--I guess since she can't figure out how to play a Vulcan, they had to make the character an emotional drug addict this season.

Malcolm, Phlox and Travis have their moments, but all are underutilized. Hoshi has one expression--depressed--and makes me want to open a vein. The writers have not done a good job of fleshing out the characters or making me care about them. Major Hayes and company have also been poorly used, and we really should see more second-tier recurring characters.

Whenever the writers are desperate or have written themselves into a corner, they use a temporal anomaly to bail. This device is getting mighty old. That last scene really depressed me.

Instead of Enterprise, I wish they had decided to make an anthology series in which each episode could feature a different established aspect of Trek, even if they could only budget for a monthly two-hour show.

Me too. I really enjoyed Next Generation and got the rest of the family hooked on that one. I am having trouble going back to the story-lines that seem from the 1960's Star Trek. I suggested to them (by email) that they develop a next Next Generation following some of the cadets that were featured on that show. I guess I had my mind all wrapped around Next Generation and DS 9 story lines. We got Voyager that first year and then it was gone (to cable). I am frustrated. I really, really want a Star Trek series ongoing. Not gonna happen!

Hi ALL!
So much to say but I will try to sort the thoughts out clairly.
This is for Virgo 10:
When Tapal and Trip destroyed the Sphere 41 a chain reaction occurred in the distruction of all the spheres but, when you destroy energy( the power of the spheres which made distortions) it gets transformed into some other matter. Did you notice the graphic used to show the chain reaction? It was a shape like an electrically charged ribbon. HUMM! Now where did I see that graphic before ?
Star Treck the Movie Series when Captain Kerk met Caption Picard.
The Enterprize C tries to rescue a freighter and a time continuum energy ribbon hits the Enterprize and Captain Jerk is lost in time.
Back to Enterprize the Tv series 2004, When the Enterprize return to Earth didn't you think they were looking for Whales!
During the battle for destruction of the Weapon, the Adirion Captain Played the part of Hans Solo in this Adventure.
When the Keepers of the spheres interveined physically in the process that the Retilians were in, the whole time contuuum was distorted and anything was up for graps as to what was happening next.
One final note: Was Indianna Jones REALLY looking for the ARK or was the ARK A UFO - SPACE SHIP?
Remember Hitler in the Indy Series wanted the power of the ARK/UFO to conquor the world. The alein who viewed the burnt body of Archer was a crew member of the ARK / UFO but he became seperated from the ARK (or as Austin Powers would say "Lost his mojo!"

"ENJOY!!!"

"THE MAGIC HAPPENS!!!"
:jester: :jester: :jester:

I love how the Andorians are cute and blue with their little wiggling antenna but are so mean and cranky all of the time!

Did you recognize the Andorian Captain? He is played by the same guy who played Weyoun on Deep Space Nine.

Yep. DH is enjoying it but it pales in comparison to the others. We also noticed Weyun played a few other characters on DS9 as well. Gotta love ST and their actor rotations. ;)
