Star Tours with a 3 year old

Yeah, I can't do motion simulators at all. Star Tours makes me so sick. I just close my eyes and I'm fine.

I've never been on the 3D version, but I remember being about 5 years old and terrified, holding on so tightly to the armrests that my knuckles were white. I loved it every trip after that, and was never scared on any other rides like Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain, etc. I think you never know until you try it. I wonder if my 4, 5 and 7 year old will be willing to try it next year.

My 4 year old loves it, but both my boys tide everything they are tall enough for at theme parks.

At 3 my daredevil did not like Star Tours. Something about the motion really bothered her.

my daughter did not like the battle elements of the ride. Some kids wouldn't be bothered by it, but if you think about what is going on it is very violent. She understood that when they shot at each other they were trying to kill each other and did not like it at all, at 4 this was a no go for her. She has ridden other simulator rides and enjoyed them, so the motion was not an issue.

Not scary at all. But it depends on the kid and no one knows your kid like you do. Go and enjoy!

It really depends on the kid. If he's been on other carnival type rides he should be fine. My 3 year old hated it and won't try it again at 4. Hoping next year is the one...

My older one loved it at three, but he loved anything we'd let him on. My younger one is still scared of the dark and certainly wasn't going to try Star Tours at age 3. Last year at age 5, though, we finally tried it and she loved it. If your kid likes other thrill rides, then give it a try. But if he/she is more timid in general then wait it out a bit longer.

My DGD hates the 3D rides. But other things like Space Mountain and Big Thunder RR, let's go again.
Just depends on the child.

DS3.5 loved it. It was his favorite ride.

When I first went on it I was about 4 and I hated it and became hysterical. I was quite frightened. It really depends on the kid.
