Star Tours: Spoiler Alert

If the Imagineers added a couple of "secret" scenes, scenes that only play like once a week or something, something with Darth Maul, or perhaps pieces of the original ride, get caught in the Tie Figher, Falcon fight from A New Hope, there could be all sorts of possibilities.

In one scene I saw last weekend, I did hear "Star Tours, this is a combat zone! What are you doing here?" a direct quote from the original attraction.

If you look at it mathematically, 456 combinations isn't very likely. Factoring 456, it's:

2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 19

While I could buy that there are variations with 2-3 possible scenes, there is definitely not anything that has 19 possible scenes.

Definitely just another case of CMs not knowing what they're talking about...

And at the start of the Pod Race C3PO says "I've always wanted to do this" which is what Rex said when he dived for the Death Star in the orginal ride.

And Rex is in the queue over at customs. Sometimes he mutters old phrases, which is fun and most people probably don't pick up on it.

Is the Star Tours ride at DL similar to the one at Disney Hollywood Studios at WDW? I haven't been on it in 4 years, and I know it was different then.

Both versions have always been the same. They both changed to the new interchangeable scene format at the same time last summer (well, technically DHS's opened a couple weeks earlier, but who's counting :upsidedow).

Great, thanks! I'm so glad, because my family really enjoyed that one at WDW, after it changed.
