Does Star Tours do one scenario per ride, or does it do multiple in one ride?

If just one, is there a way to select / predict which one it will do?.. I know my daughter and I will want to do all of them...

:darth:

:yoda:

There are 54 possible ride sequence, you'll get:
1st scene: Darth Vader OR Stormtroopers with Han solo and Millenium Falcon in the background
2nd Scene: Tattooine OR Hoth OR Kashykk
3rd scene: hologram of Leia OR Yoda OR Ackbar
Final scene: Naboo OR Coruscant OR Bobba Fett over Death Star.
These are completely random and you can't pick which one to ride.

I believe that both opening sequences have Stormtroopers. One has Vader and the other has an interrogation droid.

We rode 3 times last October and were lucky enough to see all the scenes except Yoda.

To take it a bit further, there are 11 sequences that are put together in various orders to make the 54 possible combinations. If you see all 11, you've really seen all of the content although you wouldn't have seen them in every possible combination.

It would take a minimum of three rides to see all 11. And you'd need to be really lucky to get it in three since there's less than a 1% of that happening assuming a totally random chance of each sequence appearing (yes - I actually did the math . . . .I'm such a geek . . .).

I was almost the 1%. :)

I saw them all in five rides. I have a friend who saw them in three, though.

Thanks... I'll have to keep going until I get me some Hoth... Hoth hath some of my favorite scenes of all the movies

I saw them all in 17 tries! :rotfl:

And, I was finally the rebel spy on my last attempt, as I was leaving to catch the ME back to the airport. :woohoo:

I just want to throw in that CM's do have the ability to choose the scene sequence. Not sure if the CM's choose the sequence all the time, but on our last trip, we rode Star Tours several times that day and showed up for the final run of the evening before the park closed. We were a small group & I think the CM was friends with a few of the guests. He was joking around with us in the beginning and then asked us to help him choose the scene sequence with a vote of hands. It was alot of fun! :goodvibes

Is Star Tours appropriate for young children? My trio (4) are just getting into Star Wars and recently saw the 1st one (well actually the 4th :) They receieved light Sabers for Christmas and love pretending...so just wondering if this was for them or too much of "The Dark Side" . TIA!

I would say it's fine. It's all done in a very fun Disney way.

If you mean in terms of content and not the intensity of the ride, then it is completely appropriate for all ages. However, some of the 3D imagery and motion of the ride could frighten younger passengers.

This ride has fastpass, correct? How quickly do they usually "sell-out" the fastpasses on peak days? Is it comparable in popularity to TSM? My son is going to want to ride numerous times I'm sure.

You should not have any trouble getting FPs for ST well into the afternoon. Nothing on property, except for possibly Soarin' on a good day, is comparable to TSM for FP popularity.
