I have been seeing the tips about Staples and water? I have never had anything delivered to the resort before and was wondering about having water delivered. When do you have it delivered? Do you need to be in your room? Is it brought to your room with your luggage? Do you order it on line? I am staying at CSR, just don't want to be lugging a case of water around the resort. Any other information would be great. We will be leaving on the 27th of April and I can't wait to go.

i just ordered mine today for delivery to POP on April 18th. I had to do it by phone. Apparently tomorrow (April 1st) you must buy $50 worth of stuff in order to qualify for free shipping.

Does anybody know how much they will charge for dilivery if you do not order $50. worth?

Missed free shipping. I guess you can order and have it shipped on a day that you are going to be there.:confused3

There is a current thread on the Budget Board about Staples water and the fact that free shipping is no longer offered until you purchase $50 worth of stuff (unless you have a Teacher's Reward card, and then shipping is still free). I believe someone said they ordered two cases of water and the shipping was $8? Some people plan on ordering a ink cartridge or two for their printer to bring the total over $50 (and the cartridges would be small to pack and take home). Just make sure and call your resort and find out exactly how they want the package labeled.

We leave April 28, so maybe we'll see you there :wave2: .

Thank-you for the info. I just bought a new ink cartridge yesterday! But we can always use more. When would be a good time to order for the 28th? Possibly the 20th or 21st?
24 days! I am so excited, it is taking all the disipline in the world not to pack right now!
See you all there!http://www.wdwinfo.com/images/smilies/banana.gif

Just went to the Staples Web sight, they have snack items you can order also! Nutra-grain cereal bars,100 cal. snacks, popcorn, and even cereal! I will have no problem making the $50. min.

If you're going to spend that much just on food, you might as well get a local grocery delivery. That way, you can also get perishable items such as milk, yogurt, etc., plus other actual groceries and of course a case of water.

Gooding's (www.goodings.com) is a local supermarket that delivers. There's also Garden Grocer (www.gardengrocer.com), a stand-alone delivery service that will shop where you want them to. I've used Gooding's twice and have been completely satisfied. I've also talked with the owner of Garden Grocer and I was very impressed with his commitment to quality and his friendliness -- I'll be using Garden Grocer next time.
