Staples $.01 sale

DD and I went yesterday, she got everything but the binders for a grand total of 39¢, she was so proud. She had to rush in and show Daddy and anyone else who would listen. I bought mechanical pencils for myself and a box of black pens as well, so I didn't do as well as her but mine was just over $3 so no complaining from me. We went to Walmart where the display was completely empty. Does anyone know if they restock those at all? I was really hoping to buy enough to stock DD's classroom this year.

Can you purchase a higher "limit of items" if you show your teacher ID? Like 8 boxes of pencils at .01 instead of only three??? It seems I read this somewhere? Anyone know? Thanks!

**Also - regarding the HP Cartridges... do you need the box to return them? Or can you just bring in the used cartridge? Thanks again!

I homeschool and have a teacher's card for Staples - I went yesterday and just got 3 of everything and then when I pulled out my teacher's card the cashier told me that the limit for teachers is 15 so I went back this morning and bought another round of 3 of everything and then I got the pens too that have the free after rebate.

Got in on the deals at Staples, but it was pretty busy there. Mobbed would be the word to describe. My DD doesn't need these items (K), but we're donating to the 1st and 2nd grade school (separate building). Checked out WalMart and they were completely out of crayons! Even the 64 ct was completely gone. I'm going to go back when they get their back to school section set up. They were pulling all the garden stuff out of that area to make room.

Also, Walmart has 12 cent crayons and 20 cents for a 2-pack of glue sticks!

We were the only ones at our Staples today Each of my kids got the limit. Ours was stocked well.

We went to Staples yesterday. The local store was out of the pencil boxes and the glue. I made two of my sons and my husband buy the max pencil sharpeners, pencils, and folders. Needn't have bothered, since the lady in front of me had a buggy with 25 pencil sharpeners, about a hundred folders, 30 or so packs of pencils, etc and nothing was said at all about the limits. No wonder they were starting to run out of things.

The lines were long with everyone buying mostly the sale items.
