We booked here thru getawaytoday.com with a great price TA reviews seem pretty good apparently they updated recently? I know its further down on Harbor but GAT.com also has ART tickets 7 days for $50 for 2 adults and 2 kids so im good with that..just wanted to find out about recent experiences

I stayed a year ago, post-reno. I don't know if that's recent enough for you, but we had a good time there. The room was nice enough, updated decently. The carpets weren't super clean when we were there so consider wearing covered feet at all times. Shower in our room was nice too, updated and clean. We had no issues with wifi, the fridge or microwave.

Breakfast was great, pool was great, location was great for going to restaurants and target.

I would 100% stay there again if the price is right, but the prices have gone up since I was there. I think we got a great "re-opening" price just after the renovations.

Was there anything specific you wanted to know about it?

Did you guys use ART to get to the parks or did you go some other way

And are the rooms roomy, I have read some reports that they are small and others that they have lots of room, we are staying in the one bathroom family suite with the 2 queens and bunk beds

We got ART passes, and they were a godsend at the end of the day! We did walk to the parks many times by choice, and it IS walkable for able-bodied adults. But the best thing about this ART route is that there are 2 buses that run near SI&S, so if one is full at the end of the day, the second one will pull up to the DL terminal pretty soon after the first one departs. You could also take a Toy Story Lot shuttle if you only wanted to walk halfway.

We found the 2 bathroom family suite roomy enough. There was space in the 'kids' room for spreading our stuff out on the floor. I think when they made these suites, they took one-and-a-half standard rooms for each, because there are some doors in the outside corridor that do not have knobs and some windows that have been closed over. I haven't stayed in any massive hotel suites before, but we did not feel particularly cramped.

Hi Luulu
When are you going? We recently booked here as well and have never stayed either! We usually stay closer to the parks but I found the prices to be really crazy this summer and being from Canada, the dollar is awful:furious: SO we are on a tighter budget this year. We got the SI&S for a pretty good rate but am worried about the distance from the park. We too were thinking about the ART and my biggest worry is, I will get on the wrong bus and who knows where we will end up!!:P

We will be there June 18-25--Our first trip we stayed at Clarion and had to use ART and never had a problem, they told us what bus to take and it was always the same and it picked us up right in front of the hotel and from what I understand it does here also!...I used getawaytoday.com for our hotel and disney tickets a week at SI&S was under $1000 so I couldn't pass it up they also have a good deal on their ART tickets I think I could get a whole weeks shuttle use for 2 adults and 2 kids for $50 so that is what I am planning on getting! I think it is $5/day if you pay there and with getawaytoday.com the kids are free so we are just paying for the adults, they also have a 5 day pass I think it is $30 for 2 adults and 2kids
