Standing in Line with Family without Riding

There are many rides that I won't be riding due to health issues. Since lines can be long (and queue is indoors), I am hoping that I will be able to walk through the ride but then not get on...and hopefully end up where my family will get off the ride. I'm worried it'll be complicated where to meet up with them and we will lose each other.

For the following rides, can I walk through? And if there is a "chicken exit", does it end up where they exit the ride? If not, then will need to set a meet up time and location.
  • Expedition Everest
  • Dinosaur
  • Test Track
  • Guardians of the Galaxy (if virtual queue)
  • Rock N roller Coaster
  • Star Tours
  • Millennium Falcon (I know to exit after they assign the roles but not sure where you end up)
  • Space Mountain
  • Splash Mountain
Also, for LLs, I assume I would need to have one as well. For Guardians virtual queue same thing? (I wouldn't pay for the ride for the purpose of standing in line with them)

Thanks.

All rides have chicken exits not all end at the same place they start.
Expedition Everest: I don’t know where the chicken exit sends you but just go wait in the shop after exiting that is where the ride ends.
Dinosaur also dumps into a shop on the side of the ride.
Test Track does end where it starts and has a nice indoor space you can wait in for your family to finish the ride.
Rock N Rollercoaster ends in a store that you can wait in for your family (I like to wait by the picture spot)
Start Tours you walk through the ride and can wait on the other side (find one of the benches if you can)
Millennium Falcon does not have a good spot to wait after chicken exiting (which happens when they enter the ride vehicle) but there is only one exit by the left side of looking at the ride close to the ramp to go up to the QS.
Space Mountain has a back route that has you waiting either at the end or in the shop at the end.
Splash Mountain starts and ends in the Sam spot. You go first through the log then you want wait anywhere alon the really really long exit ramp.

Thank you so much for going through each ride. I am going to mark these (on the notes I keep and taking with me) so will have it when the time comes. Wish I could just ride everything but unfortunately I have to be careful and avoid certain things.

@Frozen2014 As above, all rides have exits for non-riders at or near the loading dock.

You probably already know this, but for the benefit of others, if your family is using a Genie+LL, ILL$ or VQ, you will need to use the same in order to enter the line.

I'm not aware of any rides that don't have chicken exits. My wife will go through the queue on several rides, then exit before getting on the ride. Just let the CM know, it's not a big deal.

know you did not ask about this one but for others wonder Tower Of Terror you do take an elevator with a CM in character but not the ride elevator

Yeah, that is one as well that I can't ride, but my kids don't want to go on that one so didn't mention it. Thanks for noting though for anyone else wanting to know.

Yeah that one isn't well thought out.... I've seen kids that didn't want to do the ride, not want to take that elevator either.

To their credit, Disney CMs will NEVER forcibly strap a guest into a seat and make them do a ride if they have decided they would prefer not to do it. There is always an easy way to skip and exit.

Guardians of the Galaxy has a good chicken exit. You walk all the way to the loading area and then wait just a few feet away from where they exit the ride. :) You can't miss them. :)

Thank you. I have noted this in my notes that I will be bringing with me.

Yes - you would be taking up a LL or a more valuable VQ slot to just go through the line.
