I was just wondering what you do with your kids that are just walking when you're standing in line? Did you let them stand in line or did you hold them? I'm just afraid of having him stand in line that he'll try and get all over the place.

Thanks

We have purchased a harness for just this specific situation. We've used it a few times at the state fair and a local amusement park. I can put it on him when we are standing in line and he can walk just a bit, without me having to chase him down. It gives him just a bit of freedom - much better than trying to hold the squirming little thing! We only give him a tiny bit of lead on it, so he isn't all over the place. He isn't great at walking along with us wearing the harness yet, but it works like a charm for standing situations.

Yes, your little one is going to be all over the place. But, expect it. You are at DW. Kids and babies are cute:D
I take some interesting candy that is new to them. Keeps them occupied. little ones love to sing silly songs in line like if your happy and you know it clap your hands. I never really had a problem. You might end up holding for a while becasue lines are so tiresome.
:p
But have fun and make the most of it.:Pinkbounc

We do both--holding our toddlers and letting them stand with us. If they have been sitting in the stroller, it's nice to let them stretch their legs a bit. I bring little bottles of bubbles, some interactive toys, and snacks. We sing songs too. If it's a really long line, my husband will take one of the kids just outside the line to explore a bit. People are usually pretty nice about letting you get your place back in line. We did bring a leash thing that attaches to the wrist, but we didn't end up using it at WDW.
