What is the standby line, is it better than the single rider line? Are these lines available at all rides?

The standby line is just the regular line. That line will typically have the longest wait.

Only a few rides have single rider lines. I know Test Track is one.

DD and I used the single rider line for TT in March. They stress over and over that "you WILL be separated!" which for us was no big deal. The standby line was 50 minutes and the single line said 20 but we waited no more than five minutes.

Single rider lines are generaly only at big thrill rides that are more recent in origin, especailly those that due to ride configuration have extra seats if you are willing to break away from your party. Single lines run in Test Track, Mission Space, and Expedition Everest.

Did EE on the single rider line in late February. Standby line was 50 minutes, even FP was not for several hours, but I was on through the single rider line in less than 10 minutes. Very sweet!

I guess it depends on how badly you want to share the experience. My DW and I will split up to enjoy rides our DS won't do. But rides that he likes or rides we are trying for the first time we try to stay together.
