I just booked our room at Pop and got a decent rate for a standard room. My question is, is it worth the extra $10 a night for a preferred room? What is the major differences?

Also, we want to bring a coffee maker (we drink alot of coffee). Will that be a problem in the room?

We are first timers going the end of March so this is only a two of a million questions I will probably have. Hope you dont get sick of me lol.

Thank you

Preferred is worth it if you want a short walk to the main building, pool, resturant, bus stop. It's just the rooms or buildings closest to the "action". Its up to you to decide if that's worth 10.00 or not. ::MickeyMo

It's not worth the Upgraded room just for walking distance. We got a 1950's room and I didn't think it was a far walk at all to the main building. One thing I love about POP is that everything is in the main building. You go there and then just walk outside for the buses. I really like the food court. I say save the $10.00 a night and buy a mug for each of you and have as much coffee as you like!

Sorry I don't know the answer to the coffee maker question, but I think if you are bringing it I can't see why it would be a problem.

happy planning!

I agree, it is not worth the extra $10 a day at all. We paid it and did not find it worth it.
