Title says it all really! We're booked to go in October and will be staying at the Cheyenne so will benefit from free standard half board. Because we might want to eat somewhere that isn't a buffet I'm thinking we might use the main meal vouchers at face value somewhere else but have no idea how much that is. Anyone got any ideas?

Hi Meg, we just got back from our stay at Cheyenne and had the free standard half board. The face value is 28 euros each.

But alcoholic beverages can be a problem: at Annette's, they were charged separately because "face value" cannot include alcohol (???).
At the Steakhouse and our OTHER Annette's visit, our beer and wine was not separate, so we could pay everything with our vouchers there.

And of course, the coupons can only be traded in at Disney owned restaurants, so no McDonald's, Earl of Sandwich, Planet Hollywood etc. But the options are listed on the coupon so you should be fine. Or check dlpguide.com:

Bon appetit ;-)

Great info - but the half board is changing from the end of March isn't it? It will be interesting to hear what happens with the vouchers and their face value during April onwards!
