Okay - I know this sounds crazy. We are booked for a 7 night western in Sept. We have an deluxe outside room on deck 2 somewhere inbetween Main and AFT elevators - closer to AFT though. I was happy with this. I then took another look on travelocity and there is a standard inside room on deck 7 literally 1 room away from the secret deck 7. This rooms also happens to be about $350 cheaper for the week. We have a 4 yr old dd and she would be napping eveyday so for that, I thought it would be nice to have the inside room since it is dark and the bed is furthest away from the hall/bathroom etc plus it is on deck 7 so taking the stairs would be a lot easier to Kids Club, pool, restaurants etc... And then deck 7 could be a nice little verandah for us! The only thing is that the room is smaller and I am really not sure how much of a difference it would make for just DH and I and our 4 yr old dd - even if it is $350 cheaper. We don't like to spend lots of time in the cabin but who knows. :confused3

What do you think - I am crazy for even thinking of giving up an outdoor cabin??

Not at all crazy! :) That is a great location...just two decks up to the drink station & coffee in the morning & the Mickey pool too. A few decks down for dinners. We always stay deck 7 forward.

thank you - I think I am going to look into rebooking it. I think I rather have a better location on deck 7 and save save some money then a window. I figure, heck, I have a shared verandah steps away too :goodvibes Is the standard room really much smaller than a deluxe? I am not that worried about the split bath than storage.

Personally, I love our room 7127 cat. 11 right near the aft deck. It will be our 3rd time in it. I like getting up in the am and looking out and it doesn't disturb the others. I also figure why spend the extra money when we are rarely in the room. That is more spending money!!!!

Hey - thank for the reply, that is the SAME exact room I was looking at. I too thought the $350 would be nice to have for spending money. How many of you stay in that room. It would only be DH and I and our 4 yr old dd. Think it is enough room?

We just rebooked for next year while on our 2/26 cruise. It would have only been $300 for us as well to book the category 9, but stayed with the 11. We found that we had more than enough room. But you may want to consider whether or not you need the split bath. For some families this is a big deal

Also, I must be missing something... I have been on the Magic 5 times and have not heard of the secret deck 7. What is this?
