Which ride queues at MK should we be sure to go through with a preschooler? We have FP for PP, SDMT and Enchanted Tales. Are we going to be super disappointed we didn't go through the stand-by lines to see them? Which other lines are enjoyable? (Going mid-September, so lines not tooooo long, hopefully!)

Dumbo's queue is spectacular, in my opinion. Enchanted Tales has an outdoor queue and not much to look at, but SDMT has a fun interactive queue and PP just received a brand new interactive indoor queue that I would recommend checking out. Winnie the Pooh has some fun interactive elements for small kids, and I LOVE the Haunted Mansion interactive graveyard.

We never did standby for 7DMT. Because we had FP+. While I know the que is cool, not waiting in that line is far better!!!

The Pooh standby is cute :)

Dumbo's is spectacular?!? My kids are in their 20's so it's been awhile since we've been on Dumbo. DH and I are going alone in January. Is this something we should see for the fun of it?

Peter Pan is one of the queues that is entertaing. Pooh and HM have fun lines. Everest in DAK has a great line.

Winnie the Pooh has a cute stand-by line. Lots of toys, games, and interactive stuff.

Thanks! DD is a big Peter Pan fan... since PP is our 3rd FP, we may have to try to go by early in the AM and do standby, then try for a change of FP if she doesn't want to do it again. We definitely plan to do Pooh and Dumbo! (Mickeymom, from what I understand the waiting area for Dumbo is now a play area, so it might not be all that fun for adults!)

Yes. At Dumbo, the fun is for kids. It's a small playground/play space. My kids loved it. My husband hated it (he had trouble seeing them while they played and it made him nervous).

IMHO there are no standby lines that can't be missed. You have to wait too long to get to the cute or fun part to make it worthwhile to me. HM is the only line that moves fast enough on most days to make a FP unnecessary. Otherwise, if you can get a FP, get one. Don't avoid FP just to see what's in the line.
