Stand by line?

What is a stand by line? Noticed it at the racers ride.

The standby line is the normal queue for the attraction. Whenever there are additional lines for fastpasses (and in the case for RSR - single rider line) the normal queue becomes the standby line.

It means you "stand" while the people in the FP line get to go "by" you

As others have already stated, stand by is just another term for the regular line for a ride.
