I've seen posts that mention something about some fast pass machines not being connected to others in the system? What attractions have machines in this category and what is the best way to make use of this feature?

Thanks!

I think that in DL it's POTC, HM, and Roger Rabbit. In DCA I know for sure that Grizzly River Run is not connected. At least that was the case when I was there three weeks ago. Also, the two parks are not connected at all. At one time I held FPs for GRR, Soarin', Roger Rabbit and Indy all at the same time, all with windows close enough to each other that we did all four in the space of little more than an hour.

I can tell you that HM was connected when we were just there and POTC FP system was down for a overhaul. The CM told us that they were updating it to be connected to the system. Not sure about Roger Rabbit, and as far as I know GP in DCA is still not connected.

Knott's annual passes have been known to work in the FP machinges. ;)

As of a few days ago, in DL: HM, POTC, Roger Rabbit, & Star Tours were all "disconnected" from the rest of the system. I'd say that the best way to use this feature is to try to "pair" up a connected attraction with a non connected attraction. for example, grab a Indiana Jones Fastpass and then get a Pirate sFastpass. Also, unlike Disneyworld, the moment your fastpass time opens up, you can get another one. You do not have to wait five minutes.
Over at DCA, usually, only GRR is disconnected from the fastpass system. Fastpasses for ITTBAB and Muppet's is pretty pointless.

Bad Uncle Buck! :) While this is true, they usually change the computer program so it won't work from just before summer till January-ish. Ummmmm, not that I have tried or anything. I must've read it or something. 0=)
