I signed up easy enough but canceling is another story. :furious:

I didn't see where I can cancel online so I called them. So far I've been on hold for 15 minutes.

Anybody else experience long wait times?

I did the stamps offer a couple of months ago, and the only way to cancel was by calling. However, when I called, the representative was very polite & I had no problems cancelling or receiving credit for the offer through the reward program I used. I also was never on hold, maybe I just got lucky.

They're notorious for long wait times. . . I got fed up and faxed them stating that I wanted to cancel, their wait times are too long and I have too many other things to do. Gave them my account info, and within a couple hours I had a confirmation email that it was cancelled. Easy peasy!

Guess I was lucky with this also. Only had to wait a few minutes on hold and the person was extremely polite and I had no problem cancelling.

Maybe it's hit or miss then.

Including being on hold, my call took 25 minutes. She wanted my phone number, name, email address, last 3 digits of my Social Security number, why I was canceling and where was I intending to purchase my postage at now.

I like the points you can get for doing offers but now I remember why I quit doing offers ... the hassle of canceling if you don't want to keep the service.

Thanks for your answers!

When I did it, they didn't want my SSN, I doubt I ever even gave it to them when I first signed up for the offer, unless it was a "Security Question". If not, just sounds like they're trying to make it even harder to cancel. I did get a confirmation e-mail within minutes confirming my cancellation, so if you didn't get one, you might want to make sure you are in fact cancelled.
