Hi. I hope I can find a Ontario consultant here. I was just wandering what you charge per person when you go to a party. I am to be going to one this Wednesday with DD17. Well she is charging $15.00 per person. We are to be making I think three cards. Well thats $30.00 right there, then if I want to buy something. I am having second thoughts about going.

I went to a stampin up party and it was $15 and we only made 3 cards...it's kind of expensive if you ask me.

I went to a Stampin Up party here about a year and a half ago and it was free. We made two cards. The same consultant ran a Christmas card workshop before Christmas and it was $20 for 10 cards (two each of five designs.)

I think their stuff is rather pricey and you really have to buy quite a bit to get started, but it really is quality stuff.

I am a Stampin' Up! consultant, but not from Ontario. I don't charge for workshops. However if I hold a Stamp A Stack, I charge a set fee, say $20 to make 10 different cards with envelopes. That pretty much covers the cost of the supplies. There shouldn't be a charge for a workshop. If I hold a technique night, normally I charge $15 pp and you walk away with 3-4 different cards using specialty techniques. I would ask if you get a cut for bringing a friend and also what specials are going on.

Hi again. DD17 ended going herself last night. She made two cute cards and even a nightlight.NEAT. I still want the design book to get ideas
