Hi All

So some of our gang are visiting Stampede and Pirates whilst we are away.

So we have ordered the tickets and they have arrived but appear to have no dates on them.

Do we have to book a date when in FL or ring up Pirates / Dixie directly to reserve a date or do we just turn up.

Any ideas appreciated as ever.

You should definately reserve a date when you get there and make sure you tell them you have prepaid tickets. Some nights can be sold out even in non-peak times.

That's what has always confused me too... :confused3
(Doesn't take much :rotfl: )

Are there phone numbers on the tickets for the venue?
I'm not sure whether to buy tickets now, or when we arrive.

What happens if you buy tickets and can't get in? :faint:
I suppose there's always E-Bay :lmao:

Off topic now but, momof3disneyholics, how did you get the Tinkerbell photo in your signature done? :tink:

Thanks.

I'm not mom, but we have one of these too. You have your photo taken by a Disney photographer, and then you can "add" them in later. He or she gets you to pose like that so the picture can be added later! We also had one with Stitch jumping out of a hat!

Yep, that's right. We had it made last Sunday because it was my oldest son's 9th B-day and we always go to MK on my children's B-day. My other son didn't want to be in the picture so it is only those 2. My daughter thought that Tinkerbell had actually appeared in the picture when she saw it. I told her that since she was looking at the camera that is why she didn't see Tinkerbell when the picture was made.

If you want to go to a dinner show while in Orlando the very best way to do it is to have your Concierge at Guest Services at your hotel to book it for you. They can call and get you a reservation and you can pay for your ticket right at the Guest Services desk. That way they can give you recommendations on which show is best for your family, since they have usually seen them all many times and also if the show is going to be sold out on the night you want to go, they can usually get you in anyway.
Why buy tickets in advance when A) they are usually cheaper at a Guest Service desk and B) there is always a chance you might not be able to get in otherwise?
The ONLY thing that I (as a Guest Service Professional) recommend booking in advance is Discovery Cove. Everything else, including Cirque can be bought at the Guest Service Desk.

Thank you :thumbsup2

I assumed that it would be cheaper to buy tickets from one of the ticket agencies who seem to have discounted rates :)

Generally it is true that you can get discounts ec on tickets when you get over there. This is not always true, for eaxmple, I have just bought tickets for Dixie Stampede from http://www.onlineflorida.co.uk/Attractions.asp?PVW=1 for £20, which includes not only the show but also the photos, flag, drink and snack in carriage room etc. This is better than available over there. However, for others there are often buy one get one free coupoins in the leaflets over there.

Disney ultimate tickets are for the UK market only and you canot buy them over there

That IS a good deal on the Dixie Stampede. I think the photos usually run around $20.00 alone and the flag is $5.00. Please make sure to make your reservation for it early, if it was not done when you booked it.

I agree that the Disney Ultimate pass is the best deal if you are planning on doing alot of Disney parks alot of the time. In my experience though, the most common combination of tickets that guests will buy is the 5 Park Flex Ticket and then buy a 3 day Hopper. But of course that is in market when I see this. I see alot of guests that will walk up to me with the Ultimate Ticket and ask me what it is because they had no clue what they bought, and then realize that they still need the Flexi Ticket because they want to do all the other parks too. That is good for me because I get a big sale, but I feel bad for the guest when they spent the huge amount of money on a ticket that they may use 3-4 days out of their vacation.

Last year when there were two of us I got an annual pass fror the discounts on room and the DDE and OH got an ultimate pass. We got good use oout of them., This year were are going back 2 days after my AP expires, so I will get the renewal rate and we have between now and then to decide if we are likey to use them agian in 12 months, in which case we will get two AP's. Saying that it is not the PAP as we do not use the water parks.

Keith prowse has a similar offer to this - free child with every adult (mind you adult costs £29) and $35 of free extras which is the same extras as from onlineflorida. Worked out slightly cheaper for us as we're 2 adults & 2 children.
