Hey Courtney!! It's good to hear from you. Enjoy your last week off...I'll be thinking about you next week. I went back to work when Amanda was 12 weeks old and when Alyssa was 16 weeks old. It's not easy but I made it. They both loved their school!!

Friday was a little sad for me...it was my last time to go to the daycare. On Tuesday Alyssa will go to the school campus (it's the same church school...the daycare is at the church and the school (k- 12) is at their old building). When Amanda went to the other campus we hoped to be back with another baby but since we are fininshed now we won't be going back...

Sonya... good luck with the home improvements. Our den is sage, and I love it. Its Laura Ashley "Garden Hedge." I want to paper my kitchen in something complimentary, but haven't gotten around to it yet. Maybe one day soon...

Tucker just turned 10 last week. He and I wear the same shoe size now, and he is about at my shoulders. I'm dreading the day he is taller than me! At least Avery is petite. I'm 5'3", and I don't think she will be taller than me... maybe not even quite as tall. Hopefully she won't develop my weight issues, either.

Courtney... so glad to see you check in! I hope Princess Emerson is doing well! Please post pics when you get a chance. I see you are planning her first trip to the world. I know you can hardly wait to get her pic with Mickey! Time it close to feeding time, and you can get in her your screaming pic in front of TOT, too!

Hi everyone. Sorry I've been away for so long. Life has been super busy with end of school year stuff, ballgames and getting ready for our trip, postponing and trying to reschedule our trip, Yada Yada Yada. We are leaving day after tomorrow. We had to postpone a few days due to another swimming pool installation that took longer than expected. Oh well, postponing forced us to have to switch resorts mid trip from the Dolphin to the YC, but we're really looking forward to trying out Stormalong Bay so it's all good.

Hey Laura! Make sure you get a birthday button. When Paul & I celebrated our big 4-0's in Feb/March it was amazing how many people told us happy birthday. We each got balloons in our room on our birthday and a special dessert at the restaurant. I hope you have a great time!! and....

Hi Friends!!!!

How is everyone doing?! I thought in case yall didn't see my thread, I'd post an Emerson update here...

I can't believe Emerson is two months old!!!! My how time flies! And I go back to work on Monday--- how sad!!!!!

And even more sad--- she got her first set of shots this morning! Poor little thing! I felt so sad for her! Right now she's sleeping.... so I have a few minutes to post.

She's growing so so much!

As of this morning, she's 9 lbs, 10 oz. My friends baby was BORN at 9 lbs, 5 oz--- and mine is just about that much at two months. I think she's gonna be a little shrimp - just like her momma =)

We'll take her just the way she is! We adore her.

Hello everyone... sorry I have been away so long... and thanks for the PM's to make sure everything was alright...I have just been so incredibly busy I can't see straight.... work is very busy (spring is the big real estate season), Maggie is graduating and is the midst of her final dance recital, scholarship dinners, finals and the such. She has done very well for herself. She has received almost all of her first years costs in scholarship. We will be attending a dinner on Wednesday night where she is receiving another scholarship but we just don't know for how much yet.... we are so incredibly proud of her!!!!! Daniel is playing on 2 baseball teams.played int he sectional golf tournment... so he is going... he just received the high school award for highest academic achievement in math..... and he is only a freshman.... we were so excited for him.....life is just crazy.... it seems everytime I want to sit and check things out I get a phone call or something..... good news is my sister in law called today and asked us to go to Disney with them in Feb 09..... and my DH said YES!!!!!!

Dana's last week of classes ... next week are finals. Can't believe Freshman year is over! She has really matured this year - loved high school and made some lovely friends. We are very proud of her.

Getting ready for WDW in a few short weeks. Bob & I have our clothes all set aside... Miss Diva...er I mean Miss DANA, has yet to make her choices.

I've promised Bob we'll pack light this trip...

Hey Friends! I need for you to keep us in your prayers. The company that Paul works for is not doing well at all right now. In fact they have not paid him anything for May yet. The owner told him yesterday that they are "hoping" to pay him next week. I am so frustrated right now. He didn't even tell Paul that he wouldn't get paid last Friday...Paul had to ask why his direct deposit had not hit the bank as of yesterday morning!!! He normally gets paid once a month so he has not been paid a dime since the end of April. Paul knew that the company was in trouble so he has been sending out resumes. He had a very good interview last week and we are waiting to hear back from the company. They told him that hopefully they will be calling him in a couple of weeks. We know God is going to work everything out for us...He always has before but we would appreciate your prayers.

On a lighter note we are leaving for the beach on Saturday. We will be going with my mother & sister. We have some family friends that let us have their 3 bedroom condo on the beach at Orange Beach, AL for FREE!! I'm taking my laptop so Paul can check email and send out resumes while we are there.

We were so lucky that he had a great severence package, and he was able to consult for a few months. After much prayer, he found his current position - closer to home and he loves it. Just celebrated his 5th anniversary.

Thank you so much!! He is an electrical engineer but throughout his career he has actually done more mechanical work than electrical. We know that everything will work out but it's not in our timing. That's great that Bob's job worked out like it did and to top it off you get discounts at the Dolphin!!

We plan to have a great time next week! I can't wait for some lazy days on the beach and then some good seafood in the evenings!!

I just wanted to check in...I'm sitting here on the couch Dising, watching Island TV and looking out the glass doors at the beautiful Gulf of Mexico! We will be going out to the beach in a little while. The weather is beautiful today. It's supposed to be 91. I will check back in later.
