My husband and I have developed a problem. We keep spilling food on ourselves. Some of the things we have spilled has oil in it. So after washing the piece of clothing the oil stain remains. It has come to a point that a majority of our shirts have a oil stain on it.

Do you have any tricks to remove these stains? They have already been washed already, but I really hope it isn't set.

Thanks for your help with my laundry! :)

 to Jason.

As quickly as possible after you get the stain pre-treat it with a laundry treatment such as Shout Gel, which you can use up to a week before laundering. It definitely helps. Use it again right before laundering.

You sound like me. :teeth:

Dawn dish soap will get those stains out. Squirt a little on the stain and wash it by hand in the sink so that you can rinse out the extra Dawn dish soap. Then throw it in the washer and wash normally. I've had to do it twice on some tough stains, but the Dawn will get them out... even after the stain has been set by the dryer.

Good luck. :)
