Stained Coffee Mugs....? UPDATE POST #12

Hey Everyone on the DIS..I have gotten so many awesome cleaning tips from this site...Magic Eraser, KABOOM, Orange Glo for my floors, to name a few!

Now I have some really nice DISNEY WORLD coffee mugs and they are stained on the inside from coffee and tea!

DOES anyone have any good ideas on how I can get the inside of my Disney mugs WHITE again??

A mix of bleach and water has always gotten mine clean

soaking in white vinegar will do the trick too...

When i worked at a local restaraunt we used to put ice cubes and salt in the coffee pots and shake around to get them clean...I bet this would work as well with coffeee cups.

Bleach will take the stain out in seconds.

But hey, someone has to do it. I actually had friends over earlier for tea and I was embarassed by my mugs...

I always use the good old Magic Eraser!

I have heard that denture cleaner tablets work well also.

I always use some baking sodaand a small amount of wate to make a paste and use that and a sponge or dish cloth.

I use Comet It is the fastest way to clean the insides of cups.

The baking soda & water paste always works for me as well, takes the stains away without hraming the finish. I have used this on fine china cups without any problems or damage. (I don't think I would want to use the bleach solution on bone china...but my regular mugs/cups? Sounds good to me.

OKAY EVERYONE: Here is the UPDATE...

I have no vinegar, I have no comet, I have no baking soda..( )..

I went with the bleach and water mixture and

VIOLA...... CRYSTAL CLEAR!!!

Then after soaking I put them in the dishwasher!!!
