Today was another no rush day. Went to the Meadows for coffee and then drove to AK. The 1st thing we did since we skipped b'fast was go in Rainforest for lunch. If you're on South Beach just cheat while on vacation. It's very hard to watch your food and enjoy these places while here. Ended up spnding $45 for the 2 of us and left feeling like I threw the $ away because what I had sucked. Anyway enough of that.

We went to the Nemo Musical which we've seen but it was great this time too and then went to Everest and got on in about 30 minutes. The fastpass line was out in the front and towards Nemo Musical. I've never seen it that bad. I honestly think the stand by line was quicker. After we got off the ride we go out and who drives up on her Rascal but Miss Sundee. DD got her pic with her and we told her how much she was missed over here. She said she was here Wed. I told her we didn't come because of the rain and she said even though the movie get's rained out the sing a long always moves under the porch. She didn't seem too upset about not being here. I'm not sure if it was her idea to move or not. I do know it's not the same here without her. She was pretty tan too btw.

After seeing the miserable long lines we decided we had enough fun and came back for bingo. DD won on the last game so she's happy. This one kid about 7 y/o won game 2 with another child. He wanted this Star Wars figure and the other winner (not waiting for the CM to check their card picked it up). This poor little boy was like I called bingo first and waited in line first. He was just beside himself. If I'd have had the figure I would have given it to him lol. The CM let the games keep continuing until about 3 or 4 people won. All the prizes except a T-shirt were gone.

Well we're off to Arabian Nights soon so I better get ready. Today is our last day. :sad1: :sad1: Tonight is EMH at MK so we may go over and ride a couple things. I thought it would be easier to go home since we'll be back in 3 weeks but I guess it will never be easy to see the fort in my rear view. We've met a couple Dis'ers this week and talked to a lot of others from Florida who come over frequently. I always tell people when I die to cremate me and spread my ashes at the campfire area. That way everybody who comes can track me all over FW and I can be here forever. I'm not kidding by the way.

Anyway, we'll be packing tomorrow and heading home. Thanks to all who listened this week.

I talked Ms. Sundee and she remembers you from the Nemo show today!

For anyone interested, she will also be at the Ft doing the sing a long on June 17th and 24th.

I live in Orlando and I don't like to go to Disney often because I want it to always be special. But, I do go to the Rainforest Cafe at downtown disney often with my roomies. We don't really care for the main course, but we LLOOVVVEEE their cheese sticks and the Volcano! So we go for the app. and des. :thumbsup2

Of course we only go when we decide that we are going to eat 'bad' that day :rotfl:

Sorry you food wasn't good. My kids love Rainforest for the atmosphere, but we've always thought the food was just ok.

We've never been to that park....what kind of ride is Everest ?? I know it's pretty popular.

We enjoyed it...looking forward to hearing another trip report in a few weeks.

Arabian Nights turned out to be really good. We've been before and we'll go again lol. Got to see the shuttle go off while we waited to be seated so that was a bonus.

MK had EMH tonight from 11:00-2:00. When we got back we took the boat over and arrived about 11:30. I had a leftover fastpass from BTM RR from yesterday. CM took it with no problem. Got off went to Splash Mountain. No wait at all, got right to the boats and we were off. I also had a fastpass from yesterday I grabbed on the way out to Peter Pan which I would never wait in line for but I figured since we were leaving I'd grab it for tonight. After riding that we headed over to Space Mountain. There was a small line but not bad. I knew if we did anything else we'd be in a long line for the boat so we hurried to the launch. IMHO the MK has the best EMH. Almost all the attractions are open. It would be easier to list what wasn't open than to say what was open. Riding Thunder and Splash in the dark is way cooler btw.

MGM probably has the 2nd best because T of T and Rock n Roller Coaster are next to each other. The restaurants fill up fast so either have a ressie or eat before u come. They do a night version of Indiana Jones which is good.

Epcot is a good EMH too but Soarin and Test Track are a madhouse. I'm too clastraphobic (spelling) to do Mission Space. I have done both versions but it's too closed in so I elect not to do it again.

AK only has a few things open for EMH. Riding Everest in the dark is way cool though. I'm sure Kali River Rapids would be too if that's open at night.

It's been a fun week. I'm really glad we just slowed down and didn't rush all the time. Oh I met Camping Corgi this week, just didn't know it til today. She has a nice plywood painted Mickey with a musket (I'll post pics this week) and I asked her where she got it from. She told me today who she was when I saw her. I think that's 3 Dis'ers now this week. With Big Disney Daddy out of the pic Colson39 and I are going to have a wild party on the 4th. Miss Sundee will be providing the music lol. Just kidding, but if she'd like to join us for a frozen drink she's welcome to. Speaking of Scott I wonder where he's been. Maybe he's looking for new highly placed influential friends. I'll try and find my cable for the camera so I can download them.

I get busy for a few days and the shots just keep coming... LOL

You Dis friends arent making it any easier to cope with not being able to come down this summer. If I didnt know any better I would think you and Angie have been PMing each other for ammunition ;)

Scott

I just don't understand you people.:confused3 It boggles the mind.:thumbsup2 I can tell you, though, that I have it on the best authority that your "Miss Sundee" will be more than happy to share a frozen drink (non-alcoholic of course) and provide music at any time -- especially 4th of July.:woohoo: Of course, it will be at mrsgus' place.:rotfl2:

Now, Scott, I had absolutely nothing to do with the location of the party for the 4th of July! I just simply picked up my phone and called Ms. Sundee with everyones request. Did I mention speed dial? I absolutely have not "conspired" with Stacktester! As a matter of fact, I have been in my camper all night taking stock of kids clothing and seeing what I need to buy before it leaves my driveway. I have been nothing but innocent tonight. Stacktester does not need my help to get to you, he is doing a good job, ALL BY HIMSELF!:rotfl2: Don't hate the player, hate the game! As I said before, no one told you to live so far away!

Stacktester, keep up the good work! Bigdisneydaddy needs to be reminded, on a daily basis that he will not be there this summer. He is old and does forget!

Ms. Sundee, if you are reading this, Scott started it!:lmao:

Sounds like you had a great week. Look forward to meeting you all soon.

I need that number lol. I was so excited to see her. I reminded her about last year when she got my daughter a Monopoly game at the bingo and she knew right away who we were. I do miss her being at the fort. Had I known she was the Wed. we would have gone by. I was too busy getting soaked at MGM. I talked to CampingCorgi yesterday and she said you were comin soon. What days are you there.

I hated pullin out today. If I wasn't comin back so soon it would've been much harder.

Hubby will go this Friday and set up the camper. We (me and the kids) will be there next Sunday until some time in Aug. We usually try to get into the 1700 loop. It will be me, dd 12, ds 10, dd 10, dd 8 and dd 5. Looking forward to meeting everyone, hated that I missed Campingcorgi crew, I enjoy Barbara and Cathy's company. One more week and we are on our way!

What's that Scott? Almost made it? We will keep "your spirit" alive while having fun!!!!:rolleyes1

Thanks stacktester! I enjoyed the reports and pics. Two thumbs up! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Yea, we usually stay about 8 weeks. I think hubby just wants a little peace and quiet in his world for a couple of months. He usually heads home shortly after we arrive!:lmao:

Stacktester, that is a great picture! My 8 yo and 5 yo both shouted at the same time, "Ms. Sundee"! Then they immediately wanted to know who the little girl was with her. I think they think Ms. Sundee just rides around on her scooter all day just waiting for them to show up. I don't think they realized she has other children they share her with.
