Stacking. Do I understand that if timed right I get 2 passes the whole day?

In reading all about stacking.... Do I understand it correct that if I get one at 7am for say 11am, then park opens and I get another before checking in at 11, I can get one at 12? Then I finish my 11am right and I can get another at 1? Then I take me 12pm and I can get one at 2 (and so on) I.E. I get 2 lightening passes the whole day?

And if I DO NOT do that - if I log in at 7 and get one at 10, then I wait and get on my ride at 10, I can only make one after I ride (say at 11) and then I can only make one after I ride that (say at 1). So I am limited to just one for the entire day?

I can't imagine they will leave that loophole in for very long if that's the case.

Just be careful though. In that example your second reservation would be available 2 hours after park open, which if the park opens at 9am, would also be at 11am. Theoretically you would want to make that second reservation before scanning in at the 11am reservation. That way you could then reserve another after completing the first reservation and have 2 stacked.

That being said, I wouldn't worry so much about trying to keep 2 stacked, but just do what makes sense depending on your plans and how the day is going. You will find that you naturally will have reservations stacked towards the end of the day as return windows get later and later throughout the day,

You're correct. We actually ended up being able to hold 3 or 4 at a time on our trip this past weekend, due to a mix of the 120 rule and tapping into rides. Ones you've basically stacked those up, you get to just keep on rolling them every time you check in or hit another 120 minutes.
