Stabucks gift cards

I know this has been ask before but I can't find it... Do gift cards that we buy here in Canada will work for the Starbucks in the States. Will be there with the kids in January so I know that hot chocolate will be popular, I don't want to spend all the snacks at Starbucks...

1990 to 1999 Off site
2000 to 2003 All star Sports
2004 to 2011 Pop Century
2012 The World was great again (Pop Century) without the kids for the 1st time
2013 March Disneymoon with the kids
2013 September 2th adult trip, kind of another Disneymoon
2014 October Pop adult trip

yes you can use them anywhere and theres is no exchange rate on them either. Depending on the location you may or may not be able to redeem rewards

I told my kids that I want SB gift cards for xmas.
I am thinking I should have enough saved to cover a few sweet treats by March Break.
This is the email response from Star Bucks I received:

I just used mine at the Starbucks at Epcot a couple of weeks ago
There was a exchange rate though as the total that came off my card was not the total on the till!
