Stabridge Suites,Lake Buena Vista

Weve almost! decided on staying here next year! Anyone got any advice?
Also is it near to any diners for breakfast,Ponderosa/Sizzler etc?

I stayed at Staybridge Suites, LBV for 2 nights last year in a 2 bedroom-2 bathroom unit and was impressed with it for what we paid. (It's not Disney's luxury apartment standard but was perfectly adequate and clean).

The buffet breakfast was good and plentiful and there was indoor/outdoor seating.

We had a ground floor apartment which looked out onto the pool so liked the location. There was a courtyard and garden area nearby which made for a pleasant seating area in the evening.

Nearby is Sizzler, Steak n' Shake, Macaroni Grill and Chilis and just a bit further is Pizza Hut, Olive Garden, Burger King, McD's, Perkins, Pizzeria Uno etc - all within walking distance. I'd stay there again

Stayed in a "trio" when they were Summerfield suites & we are staying in a 1 bed suite this time around.The suite is quite spacious ( we had considered on-site but space wins it!) with fully fitted kitchen-the maid replenishes your tea & coffee each day as well as washing the dishes in the dishwasher. The King size bed is huge & the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! the pool is pretty much standard,the Gym is ok if you just like CV but no weight machines.We found the stall very helpful,I had a problem with a parcel that should have been delivered & they really went out of their way to help. The free buffet breakfast is great if you don't want to go out of the complex.
There is a Winn Dixie 5 mins walk & most restaurants are within a stone's throw

As Pootle says,the Buffet breakfast is included in your room rate,when we stayed last it was a continental style but I was looking at the Staybridge web-site & it shows pictures of omelettes,bacon & sausages,so would definately save you eating out or buying in! We tend to use Denny's (which is 5 mins in the car or a 15 min walk) for our first couple of days then use the hotel for days by the pool or shopping days,where we are not getting up ultra early. I don't know how many are in your party but there should have been 7 of us in the trio ,the computer at the time allocated us 2 trios instead of one -for the same price!!-so there was only 3 of us in ours,it was like living in seperate hotel rooms! But even with the 7 there would have been plenty of room.
