Can you walk for the ship over to the tram that goes up the side of the hill?

What is at the top?

Yes .... you can definitely walk from the ship. Walk past the shops and it's across the street. What's up there is a BEAUTIFUL view. Also some shops and a small restaurant.

I love the Paradise Point Tram. It is an easy walk from the ship. A nice quiet trip up to the top. Some small souvineer shops. We had our picture taken with the birds from one shop - a great memory. We also did a wonderful shot of us with the Magic in the background from up there. Loved it!

But I think I read on a thread something about if the ship does not dock at the normal place that it would be quite a walk from the ship and that it was some what expensive to get a taxi.

Has anybody had that problem?

I can't remember taxi fares but I do remember getting a taxi is no problem. The taxi is really an open air bus. If you tender in you will arrive in the main downtown district but that is a short drive from the pier. I wouldn't walk from that spot but I would walk from the pier. Kathy

The bus is 1.00 per person and the taxi was 3 per person. I offered 2 and they took it.
