Can anyone tell me if I made a mistake canceling my St. John Barefoot Catamaran for the Doulbloon sail? I have a feeling the main reason the Catamaran is so much more money ($27 more) is because it is an open bar (I dont drink much) and just a half hour longer. Is it that much better to go to St. Jonh than Buck Island? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

DH and I did the Doubloon sail last year and loved it. Very nice , perfession crew. Awesome ship, and awesome snorkling. They did have kind of an open bar after the snorkle with rum punch ,beer and soda.I don't think you will be sorry at all. They also went around takeing pics of anybody who wanted one and posted them on their web site for you to get later.

Thanks for the info goofy....now I feel better about my choice to switch. :D

Hey, I have been to both places....did the Doubloon last summer, it was a very good trip..........however, I did get alittle sick on the trip (seasick) and we couldn't go on the beach there (Buck Island) because of nesting birds. This was a problem for me because I needed alittle "land time." I've been to St. John 3X on other trips. With the exception of BVI, it's the closest to paradise that you can find on this earth!!!!!!!!!! Have a great trip!!!!!!!!!:smooth:

Sorry to sound so dense but, does the Doubloon actually go to St. John? The booklet didn't actually clarify that. Thanks
