I am taking my cousins out for their 33rd Wedding Anniversary on the 29th...any suggestions of nice restaurants in the area?
Thanks!
Laura

Years back my husband and I ate at a wonderful restaurant in Tampa/St. Pete. It was called Bern's Steakhouse. It is a little pricey but the food was great and it was well worth the money. They have a dessert room upstairs. After dinner they took us on a tour of the restaurant.

I was going to suggest the same as doxdogy, Bern's is excellent! I've been there twice. And although some of their items are pricey, my BF and I managed to have dinner (not including dessert) for under $50. What's nice is they include soup and salad with everything, as well as a potato and all-you-can eat veggies. Both times I ordered a small filet (but for me it wasn't that small, esp. considering you get all that other food), I think 6 oz. and it was around $20. The desserts are yummy too, and they have a lot of after-dinner drinks. If you're wine drinkers, they have the largest wine collection in the world.

Here's a link to their website:http://www.bernsteakhouse.com/bs_frame.htm

It doesn't list prices though. Not including alcohol, a dinner for two can be under $100 unless your order the 44 oz. porterhouse or a 3 lb. lobster!
