St Patrick's Day plans at WDW?

Hi everyone!

My wonderful, incredible, great family and I are going to WDW next month. We arrive March 14 and leave the 21st.

I'm wondering what (if anything) I can expect to see at WDW for St Patrick's Day. Will CM and characters be dressed differently, in their Irish green?

Does anyone here on the forums plan on doing anything St Patrick-y and special and green while they are there on the 17th?

I think I'll put everyone in a green shirt that day. But I don't have anything specific planned yet.

We will be there the same exact time. I don't know of anything special, but I wouldn't anyway as this is our very first time going. I will of course wear green!! Will be looking here to see if anyone knows of anything.

We'll be there then too for our first trip. We'll be wearing green, but I don't know of anything going on that day.

We have been to WDW several times on St. Pattys Day ad always try to stop in Raglan Road for a snack and beer. We have never had reservations for early in the day and DH and I usually just snag a couple o seats at one of the bars. On St. Pat's Day, Raglan has entertainment all day long and sometimes celebrate for several days. Have fun....I'm so jealous....I would love to listen to some great celtic music and belly up to bar, for a pint o guiness.

We'll also be there March 14-21, and I was wondering about St. Patrick's Day, too. I can't wait to find out!

We will be there the 14th-21th as well. My DH bday is on the 17th. I called and asked about anything special for St. Pat's, and they said there are no special activities for it. Raglan Road is the only place that officially celebrates. We will be staying at the POFQ and having a bday extravaganza for DH all week.

Wow its great to hear about all of us being thier at the same time. We will be at Disney Studios that day. Wearing green. I wonder if they will do anything at the studios.

We'll be there as well. We have our Guinness & Keith's shirts ready so you'll see us at Raglan Road too. So far there are over 325 DISers going in March so we're in good company. Erin Go Bragh!
