St Marteen Sailing Time

After reading several trip reports and web sites, it seems that the time the ship leaves from St Marteen can vary. Our cruise documents say that they leave at 7:30 pm, but I have seen reports that the ship doesn't actually leave until 10:30.

Perhaps 7:30 is the time you have to be on-board?

If the actual departure time does vary, does the on-board time vary?

If I am not mistaken, they rotate the departure time. I do not know if there is a specific system for this or they do it randomly.
