Anyone who is taking a 7-night Eastern Caribbean cruise, I have a big suggestion. First of all, I know you'll have a great time. But anyway, when you are in St. Thomas, I STRONGLY recommend the St. John Trunk Bay Beach and Snorkel Tour excursion. Trunk bay is THE most beautiful beach(ask anyone who has been there!)in the caribbean. It is in the St. John National Park and the beach is beautiful; it has the whitest sand and the clearest water in the caribbean-the water can get up to 30 feet deep and you can still see the bottom! There are even little signs put underwater in and around a beautiful coral reef where you can snorkel if you choose to. The signs say things about the fish in the water and about the park. First, you take a smaller boat over to St. John and then board a pickup truck with no back; instead there are seats there. It takes you to trunk bay and stops for some Kodak moments along the way. When we went, the excursion was a little crowded(obviously other people had heard about St. John too) but surprisingly, when we got off the ship, the number of people didnt seem as large and the beach wasnt crowded at all. You should probably book this excursion early!
