St Augustine

Hi
We are looking to add a little bonus to our March trip and go to the St Augustine area for 4 nights before arriving at OKW
Has anyone been before....we don't mind doing B&B or condo on the beach or hotels in the area...any ideas....we are thinking of just taking pot luck and driving up there and see what we find

Hi,

We're doing the same thing this July but only for 2 days. I spent some time looking into the best place to stay and from what I can gather it's best to get a B&B in the centre of St Augustine - unless you're looking for a beach break.

I would always book ahead and there are loads of B&Bs on the internet - check out the St Augustine forum on www.tripadvisor.com for some wise words from the local experts.

DH and I have been to St. A. several times aand enjoy it very much. There are tons of things to do and good food. We have stayed in mostly motels in several areas. Couldn't really recomend as not knowing what you would like. Next time we go I would like to stay on
the beach. Have a great time. Shirley
