Ok, now we're tossing around the idea of camping at St. Augustine and found a few campgrounds online but I'd love to hear if any dissers have camped there and if they liked it...thanks all!

Well, this isn't exactly what your looking for but, I know people that liked camping at Anastasia state park. The biggest problem I've heard about it is the walk is to far to get to the beach. The best place I am told is North Beach Camping Resort.Lots of trees and nature as well as close to the ocean. I havn't stayed there myself in over 20 years but, I have an Uncle that still goes quite a bit. From what I've been told it hasn't changed much since I last stayed there. They have pull thrus and can accomodate big rigs ( at least my size a 38 foot 5er ).I'm sure someone will have first hand info. DW and I mostly only go to the fort. I figure if I'm going to spend a few days camping I want it to at least be a long distance call from the house. My Uncle wants us to go with him soon and he said if it would make me feel better I could drive around town for a couple of hours before checking in:rotfl2: . A couple of other places are
Bryn Mawr on the ocean www.brynmawroceanresort.com
Pepper Tree- Across the street from Bryn Mawr
www.rvparkreviews.com/regions/Florida/St_Augustine_Beach.html
Ocean grove- close to ocean
www.oceangroveresort.com
KOA - mile or two from ocean
located on Pope Road near SR A1A

North beach Camping Resort

Anastasia state park

Hope this helps

The campground itself is nothing special, they do have a pool up front. Having a campsite on the beach is the best part of the place.

Wow! That's a great site! We were contemplating between that one where you were, North Beach and the KOA. With so much to see and do in St. Augustine, we're not too concerned what the campground has to offer but I do like clean restrooms as we have a popup!

OMG! Thank so much for posting those pictures!

We have reservations there for the night before we go to Disney and in site 237!

It looks really nice!

Someone posted a site http://rvparkreviews.com and the comments were pretty good.

We are only 11 days from leaving now! :dance3: :dance3:

Please be sure and let me know what you thought of the campground! I'd really appreciate it!

I should really stay there sometime. My only problem is you could blow your horn when you get to your site and I could hear it at my house...good because of house location,,bad because I miss out on a cool park..I guess it would work out good if we got packed up, left, and then thought we left the iron on...:lmao: :rotfl2:
