Kathy - I love those pictures! They are so great!

Dizneat - Thanks for the OKW photos. I am staying there for the first time in December and I can't wait!!!!! Kathy promises to post tons and tons of pix! Right Kathy????? ;)

Thanks, MaryEllen.

So glad YOu got And squared away with tickets and flights.

:hug::hug: For both your brother and Nicole. May they both heal quickly.

Prayers for your family Kathy!

I love those remembering pictures. I like to look at my kids in years past too. It's hard to beleive they were ever that little.

Thinking about you and your brother, Kathy.

Kathy - Doh - I did not see your post about your brother. I hope everything went OK with the surgery. Ulcers? Diverticulitis?

I am sure you are all very worried and frightened. Please let us know how things are when you finally get time.

Prayers and Hugs!

 I hope and pray everything is ok. I will keep your brother (and you) in my prayers)

Kathy, sending some big prayers out to your family as you deal with these scary times with your brother and Nicole.

That is so great Andy is coming and secondly, I think you will love OKW. We always enjoyed it very much. It is so laid back and relaxing. We love Olivia's for any meal and really enjoy the boat to DTD. And having a balcony and the kitchenette is great. They are so spacious and I love the fact that OKW studios have the two beds.

I am so glad for you guys, it sounds like you have all your tickets and plans squared away. That always feels very good.

On the CSR front, I was finally able to book CSR for our June trip. Its not been available for our dates but I kept checking and it is now coming up for our two weeks. Hopefully if discounts come up, we'll be able to keep it (never could get it to open up with our free dining pin this past June).

Hang in there with all you have going on.

Hey Kathy sorry to hear about your brother and the news about Nicole. Thoughts and prayers are with you all

Dear Kathy,

I am finally all caught up and I must say, there has been a LOT going on in my absence! I am So incredibly sorry to read about your brother AND Nicole! Praying that they both will have joyful news soon and that your trip will be stress free...Gracious you deserve it sweet lady!

As for the photos of Andy...PRICELESS!!! Christian still enjoys being with us and it makes me happy that he still wants us to be involved in his life..he genuinely lies us, and it is evident that Andy feels the same way about you and Mark...what great parent you are and what a wonderful man you have raised!

Thanks everyone for the prayers for my brother; update coming up.

My brother has an obstructed bowel. This is caused by scar tissue from two previous hernia operations and losing over 298 pounds, the mesh net from the hernia got tangled up in February and surgery was required. This casued MORE scar tissue. Unfortunately, nothing can be done about the scar tissue around the intestines and there is no way to stop this from happening. It could happen 100 more times or never again. There is just no way to tell. He is doing nothing wrong to casue this -- he is eating right, exercising, etc.

They have a tube in his nose going down his throat to his stomach and they are trying to flush his system out to get rid of the obstruction. As of this morning, it was about 50% successful. If it is not completely resolved tomorrow morning, they will do surgery again -- which means more scar tissue. This poor kid can't catch a break. He has no insurance and debt collectors calling all the time for $700,000...yes I said $700,000 for his past two surgeries. He's been out of work for 18 months because he was let go from his job a moth before he had his heart problems.

I'm hoping he doesn't need surgery, but I fear this will happen too many times again.

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.

I'm thinking of trying to get another ADR at Boma because I think Andy would really like it; I looked and they had one spot open but it is rather late and will cut into our Epcot time. I'll keep checking to see if I can find a 7:30.

Also, it turns out that our good friends Shelley and Tom's theme for their Halloween Party this year will be Pirates...so our costumes at the MNSSHP will have to be a little more detailed so I can use for both parties.

Based on the contest Ann is playing on her PTR and to pass the next six weeks time, I'm going to post a picture and you need to tell me who is in the picture, where the picture was located and, if applicable, what attraction.

Here's the first one:

I will be keeping points on who answers correctly first, etc. At the end of six weeks, I will tally up the points and the winner will get a prize whichi I will pick up while on our trip.

I don't know if I am doing this right...Mark and Andy at Ohana's???

I am just sick about your brother, and I WILL be praying! It is a shame that in the USA people have to go MEDICALLY BANKRUPT for health care (and you know I feel you on that)! May you feel the healing prayers and good wishes coming your way and may your brother be pain free and at peace!

Oh, poor guy. He hasn't caught a break, has he. :sad2: I pray he feels better soon. Isn't there something that can be done about the medical bills? Can't the hospital work something out?

! point for the boys (Andy and Mark)
1 point for Goofy

But not at Chef Mickey's

Judy, you did it right and it is Mark and Andy (but already guessed). But it is not Ohanas.

After my brother's heart problems, they did work out a deal at the hospital where follow up visits would only be $15 per visit. But the hospital still sent the hospital bills to a debt collection agency. He has no savings as he filed bankruptcy years ago after a so-called friend screwed him when they were living together and never paid rent, utilities, etc. and then took off. My brother had to pay all that and it dwindled his savings, etc.

The boys at Cape May....

So sorry to hear about your brother Kathy. I hope the flush works and he doesn't need to have the surgery.

Storm Finally passed...Of course it is Goofy, I knew that! :rotfl2::rotfl2: Do I get one more guess...Cape May??? It has to be SOMEWHERE Beachy...I bet Tim knows! Your boys are so cute!!!

Medical Bills...I will not get started, but we owed NO ONE except for our house when Lisa was born...not even a car payment...3 Million Dollar plus Heart surgeries were worth EVERY penny...'nuff said, but oh how it hurts to hear someone else fighting to pay those horrible bills...Now to go snuggle my million dollar baby, she doesn't feel good tonight...(She liked the picture)

And no it is NOT Cape May.

I KNEW he would know!!! Beat me to the punch..I type so slowly with a little one in my lap!

Ok, the rules committee (which consists of me and Mark) have made an executive decision that Judy gets a point for Ohanas. Although it is really NOT Ohanas as we know it now, it is the restaurant at the Polynesian that now houses Ohanas. It used to be called something else and was the Minnie's Menehue Character Breakfast. But since all of you YOUNG people wouldn't know that, we'll give it to Judy for being closest. But from now on, we won't be so lenient. ;)

Lisa, feel better...tell your mom to give you a hug for me.

Oh Kat !!!Your poor brother !!! $700,000 dolllars and now this !!!It can't help his mental outlook with that Financial Cloud hanging over him!:scared1::I pray everything goes well for him !!If ever anyone deserved to win the Lottery it is him !!!:worship::worship::worship::cloud9::hug::hug:

Wow...I'm so sorry that your brother has to deal with the medical issues & that huge bill! That is terrible. I wish there was some sort of non-profit organization to help people in those situations.

I hope everything turns out ok with your brother. :flower3: Wow, he really can't catch a break. I can't believe medical bills can get so crazy. :sad2: Well I can. But it's upsetting.

Hope you get your Boma ADR! :cool1:

Oh Kathy - your poor brother. I would think there is a good chance they can treat his bowel obstruction without surgery. Believe me - no surgeon wants to operate unless they really need to.

I really, really hope your brother is doing better today. Hopefully another obstruction series or Cat Scan will reveal good news!

Fingers crossed.

Thoughts with your brother too. I would have him talk to a bankruptcy attorney when he is able. I know its not a popular opinion on the Dis but your brother deserves to get out from under the financial cloud he is under so he can concentrate on healing and getting back on his feet.
