Kate, that picture of Andy with Pluto is a favorite. Mark used to take it with him whenever he traveled for work.

As for being spoiled by OKW... well, I was worried about that with the Beach Club and if we end up not returning for awhile its going to be hard to pass up staying there again. Although I had a moment when I would have given almost anything to be back at CSR, which I will reveal if I ever get around to updating my TR!

Yeah, I'm just afraid we're going to get used to "more" space, etc. I don't worry about transportation or walking to a park because we always have a car, but having more space is a plus.

Yes, it's been since 2004 when he went with us; Markie hasn't gone since 2000.

Yes, that long, Tink! And as you saw above, Markie hasn't been since 2000 (always wanted to go to wrestling camp or he was on the National team and they were traveling). Andy was there in 2009 with the 13-year old baseball team he coached that year. We had taken him his 8th grade year with his baseball team, and he decided to return the favor to his players. They stayed at the Caribbean (he said it was okay, but he MUCH preferred the Coronado and wished that had been an option for them).

I'm feeling a little bit emotional today... one of my BGF's is taking her oldest to college today... my kiddos started back to school... and one is in her last year of middle school and one DS is in his last year of elementary... time presses on, doesn't it?

Anyway - I loved your pics - I want a collection of my kids just like it! Well on our way... their first trip, they were 9, 6 and 4. This trip they will be 13, 10 and 9. But I love the 18 month old pic of Andy. So sweet.

Amy, I got teary-eyed myself. I can't believe my little boys are now men. I keep hounding them that I AM NOT GETTING ANY YOUNGER and they might want to find the girl of their dreams and give me some grandbabies one of these days.

Oh, I hated the "going to college." Andy didn't leave State and was only 15 minutes away for his college years. Markie, on the other hand, first went to Wisconsin and then to Iowa. Driving him for his first year in Wisconsin was AWFUL. We got him moved in and it was time to go. I started crying uncontrollably. He looked at his dad and shrugged his shoulders as if to say "what did I do?" And his father with all his charm said, "she's a mom...just let her get it out of her system." His second year in Iowa (I was fine the first year he was there) was just as bad. We drove him to school with all his stuff the day after my Dad died...it was brutal saying "goodbye" and I made all the boys on the wrestling team promise me to take care of him for me.

It is fun to look back at the photos--such happy memories. And you will enjoy them too as you have more photos and compare the ages.

The tumors are better, but not decreasing how they would like them to. She may need surgery but then everything will be taken out and she won't obviously be able to have kids on her own. She has 2 more weeks of chemo and then they will see what happens next. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
