It is NOT dying 1000 deaths!! I lurk, I'm just usually at work so I hardly ever post anything because our computers are monitored...but at this point, I don't care! We're closing so we all just sit here bored to death every day. I'm going on the DIS, dang it!

So my trip is 367 days away....I've already made an itinerary and an ADR schedule. I'm waiting to hear from 2 people about rooms and then I can book!! I would love to start a PTR now but I know I could never entertain people for a whole year lol

Have you found a new job? And good for you...if you have nothing to do, DISing is the best! I think you should start one after you have everyone situated.

Yes, we do. I've been waiting for Barry to get back from his trip before I start bombarding everyone with messages to make final arrangements. We leave in 2 weeks!

How about........ Andy comes and joins you on vacation, finds a job while he's there, and you have another reason to take frequent trips back to Florida.......OR, finally make that permanent move you've been dreaming about!!!

I miss the beach - a little. I grew up about a 10 min ride from the beach so it was always close. A great place to escape if you needed to.

I don't miss the sand getting everywhere and the wind on occasion.


I hope Mark can join you if he does not get a job right away. That would be the best excuse not to come along right?

I like your idea of Andy finding a job in Florida and us moving there permanently. However, Andy LOVES Chicago, and I do not think he will ever move from here. And this is despite the fact that I tell him he can coach baseball more in Arizona or Florida because the weather is better.

Seeing that I never had a beach nearby, I have fallen in love with it. Plus we like the warmer weather, etc. Now, if they could just do something about the sand.

As I've mentioned before, Mark is definitely NOT big on dressing up for Halloween, etc. However, he has agreed to go as a pirate for the MNSSHP party if I didn't go crazy. So on our first day at the MK, we will get some type of pirate hat at the dump shop outside of POTC. And I got these matching t-shirts for us to wear. I figured this was about all he would put up with:
