Double digits means closer to meeting you and Dave. :)

:goodvibesHappy Father's Day, Mark!!:goodvibes

Thanks, Christine.

Andy is on his way home from baseball and since we have no air conditioning, I really didn't want to put the oven on. Mark should be home around 6 from umpping, so Andy is stopping at the store for potato salad and hamburger buns and he is going to cook hamburgers on the grill rather than me make a meatloaf. :thumbsup2

How did I miss that you've no AC? Do you have some oscillating fans and/or ceiling fans?Must have been skimming again.:rolleyes1 Hope you are not in the midst of a heat wave - those Chicago heat waves are brutal!

It's 95 here with a heat index of 102 - in the summer I have to keep a ceiling fan and oscillating fan going 24/7 in my room even with AC. My room is over the garage - freezing cold in winter and hotter than heck in the summer.

Hope you can keep cool!!:goodvibes

Christine, our air went out on Memorial Day. They "temporarily" fixed it. The circuit tripped, but they can't figure out why. It went out again two weeks ago. We knew it was on it's last leg (it is 18 years old), but $3000 is not in the pocketbook to replace it...especially since the furnace may very well go too since it is just as old. And we can survive without air (although it is tough at times) more than we can without heat. So we are putting away for a new furnace a little money every week.

First off, Happy Father's Day to Mark!

Second, your day with Nicki sounds wonderful. I can't think of a better way to end a shopping day than with a nice dinner with friends.

Yes, one must choose heat over AC. I must have missed that post altogether.

Hoping you have enough fans - I'm guessing you & Mark tolerate the heat pretty well since your Disney trips are always during the hot and humid times in FL and you both always look so comfortable, never hot and miserable. My gosh, you always look nice and fresh in every FL pic!::yes::

Guess you can just think of the hot days as a touch of FL. :thumbsup2

First, we changed our ADR at Mama Melrose to 50's Prime Time Cafe on our DHS day.

Also, we were able to book Cape May Cafe for the evening of September 28 at 6:45 p.m. I am hoping when we get there that they will allow us to wait for MaryAZ's group and join them all at one table (they have a ressie at 7:05 p.m.).

And today, Andy ordered and printed the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets for his Dad for Father's Day. Yes, I know I'm not a dad, but he didn't want his dad to be lonely and go alone.

So much happening today. Now if it would just get here.

Whoo Hooo!! This is great news! I have heard many good things about this dinner!!! Now, if I could just get the airlines to cooperate.....

We have a ceiling fan in the living room, family room and all three bedrooms. We also bought an oscillating tower fan which we leave in the family room for Cookie during the day and then take up to our room at night (Andy already had his own tower fan from school). Last night was a little brutal and I woke up every couple of hours...but we did have to close the windows because they had predicted rain all night and, of course, it didn't rain. Tonight there is a little breeze and a slight chance of rain. Tonight I am keeping the windows open.

Mary, I just hope they let us all sit together. We really enjoyed the dinner both times we were there and now with the crab legs :worship::worship:

Come on airlines!!!!!

We don't have Central Air !!We have window A/c in the bedrooms and in the Living room. We turn off the bedroom ones during the day and keep the l/room one on low till we get home !!We would love central air , but our Furnace is also old and hopefully lasts till we can afford to get them in one unit !!

Hi Kat! I wanted to wish Mark a Happy Father's Day! :goodvibes Did you all have a nice day? I hope so.

No A/C? Oh honey, that's just not right! Are you sweltering? Ugh, I hate being warm while I'm trying to sleep. :headache: Keep those fans going 24/7!!

Hi Kathy,

First Happy Father's day to Mark!! How nice of Andy to get Mark (and you) MNSSHP tix! I know you have gone before so you know it is so much fun.

Have to get caught up with your TR (been really busy, working and trying to figure out our summer plans). Went to see the Harry Potter exhibition in NYC this Saturday - we had a great (but tiring) day! :goodvibes

Hi Kathy!! Found my way over to your PTR, haven't read yet, it's kinda long already!!! You got LOTS of followers!!! I do agree that the dis people are the best you can have!! and Mary's little girls are REALLY cute!! I rode splash with the little one in March I believe it was, or early April. Mary was here with Leanne, I love Leanne's girls too!!! Shoot, I just love kids in general. I wish I could have 5 more....but not in the stars for me. I gotta check your dates, maybe Chris and I can pop over and meet you guys, we've done that for lots of people, and have met some awesome new friends!!!

Double digits means closer to meeting you and Dave. :)

We can't wait to meet you guys and we have had a slight change of plan in that we don't have to rush off to Artist Point that night (have changed ADR's all will be explained in the PTR) so hopefully we get to stay a little longer than planned :)

I love your Nicki shopping day! It's always so much fun! And, of course, I love your dinner plans. YUM!

Happy Father's Day to Mark! Your shopping day sounds great!

since the asian places that cook in front of you are so popular, do you think it would work for me to open a place that has lawn chairs and paper plates...

and the cooks are using a charcoal grill in front of you and your beer is in an aluminum can and a coozy?
