Hurricane permitting, we will be arriving at SSR for 14 nights from Fri 17 Sept. We will be staying in the 1 bedroom section of a 2 bed lock off with our 16 month old daughter.

We intend to put her in the pack and play in the master bedroom at night. Is there enough room for it to fit beside the bed on the window side?

I am interested in hearing experiences from other parents of similar age children who have stayed at SSR. I am hoping she will enjoy the playground, seeing ducks, playing with the Donald water feature and the walk (in her stroller) to DTD.

I am a bit concerned about the limited children's choices at Artists Palette, but I can feed her in the villa if necessary.

Any tips, experiences or stories to share?

No problem. The area you describe will work just fine.

I don't think the children's offerings at AP are any different than other WDW restaurants. It's rare to find more than 2 or 3 items specifically geared toward children at any counter service (and most table service) establishments.

Thanks tjkraz for your prompt reply.

Glad to hear there is plenty of room for the pack and play. I hate it when they block the whole room.

Have a great weekend!

We were there with my son and we put the crib exactly where you described. There was plenty of room.

When went on opening weekend and the playground and walkway to DTD were not open. But my son loved the pool, the Donald fountain, and taking the boat to DTD.

We didn't eat any meals at AP, when we were at the resort we ate in the room. But I remember things like chicken fingers being available.
