SSR- What will we need for the kitchen?

We're staying in a 1 br at SSR and wondering what they supply for the kitchen? Dish soap, dishwasher detergent etc? Does anyone know what type of coffee maker is there and if they will have coffee filters? We will most likely bring our own coffee. Any info would be great. Thank you

you don't need to worry about the dish/dishwasher soap. That will be there for you. All cooking/eating utensils are also there. I can't tell you what kind of coffee maker-but the ones at BWV were pretty good and yes filters were supplied. Hope this helps!

I'm not sure which brand of coffeemaker they supply (there may be a few different brands throughout the different DVC resorts), but all the ones we've had are 8-12 cups, with flat-bottomed filter baskets. (although there has been a recent post that mentioned a cone type of coffeemaker in a villa.)
I don't remember getting enough filters for any stay, but that may have been a fluke; we always bring our own (plus our own coffee). For our trip next week, I'm bringing both kinds of filters, just to be safe.

The villas do come with some pre-made filter packs of coffee, but they're not to our taste. (We're very about coffee. )

thanks! we're verrrrry picky about our coffee so i want to make sure we have everything we need before we get there! i dont think i would be able to function at disney without my morning cup.

You'll have all the tools, cutlery and crockery you need, though we bring a pitcher for iced tea, our mainstay. You'll need filters, coffee, cream, napkins, whatever sweetner you use, plus food, of course. Napkins are what I always forget! I also bring some diswasher soap if we're really cooking and will run it often.

Just food...but if you're bringing your own coffee bring filters (regular 8-10 cup size) as they didn't have any when we were there a few weeks ago. Luckily dh came up the next day and brought some from home. They only had the filter packs of coffee at housekeeping, no filters. Just pack them, they're so light, better to have them than not.

They don't have napkins but they do have paper towel rolls. If we forget napkins we grab some extras at Artist Palette.

Housekeeping also has the coffee accompaniments, sweetener, powdered cream (yuck), but if you forget that they'll bring some up. You can always grab creamers at AP as well. (I'm gonna get flamed for that but hey...you pay enough to stay there and buy stuff at the AP, so can't hurt if you grab a few extra creamers and napkins.

We are going to be staying in a 1 bedroom at SSR too, we are leaving tomorrow. We're taking filters, coffee, our own detergent (for the washing machine, I really am picky about what I use to wash our clothes), a few dryer sheets. We're also taking the apple juice my little girl likes, a case of Dasani bottled water, and a 12 pack of Coke (for me!) Oh, and a box of Rice Krispies. I think that's our list!
