Hi all: do you need an ADR to dine at the Turf Club (isn't that the name of the TS restaurant) at SSR? We will be there in Jan. and are hoping that we can get a table with little wait. How does it work there?

Thanks!

We were there last May, cancelled our Chef Mickeys ressie since its our last night we just wanted to relax and enjoy the resort, it was around 4:30pm when i stopped by Turf Club and was able to get a dinner ressie for 3 at 6:45 pm. No regrets we loved the food, It was great!!!

We called same day when we went in Sept. Our dds were crabby that day and napping so we didn't want to wake them up to go to our Boma ADR. We had no problem getting any time we wanted. It ended up being one of our favorite meals. I had a really good chicken dish and dh I think got a steak that he really liked. They even brought out free soup for our 21m old dd since she wasn't on the DDP like her big sister who was having soup. (We asked for a bowl to pay for, but they brought her one for free).
The girls also loved the make your own sundaes.

This sounds great! I was hoping that we could use it as our "Plan B" in case we were too tired to get to a park or DTD for an evening meal. Sometimes it is so nice to stay at "home" for the night.

If we land on time on Wednesday and aren't too tired we may head to the Turf Club for something to eat so good to hear ADR's not really needed.

ClaireL - you will love PBH. We stayed there this past March and it was fabulous. Lowes hotels are usually so wonderful and this was no exception.

Hope that you enjoy the Turf Club.

Have a great trip!

You will love the Turf Club, it is one of our favorites. It is such a relaxing atmosphere, the dark wood work, peaceful, great place to eat at the end of your day.

We ate at their various times during our last Jan visit, didnt need to make any adr's and got in at the earliest dinner time slot 5:30 ish. We did make an adr if we knew thats what we would be doing.

Enjoy

We love Turf Club too and we did call the same day and were able to get the ADR for anytime we wanted. Good Luck and have fun!:goodvibes

We dined there in late August. Were able to get a same day ressie for 5 people. It was a booked restaurant though. You may want to have an ADR just in case, even if you make it the day before.

When we tried in August we could not get in the night we went but they stop at 9.00

You can try the night before

I love the turf club

We tried to eat at Turf Club 3 times on our trip in June. 1st time for lunch we walked up and were immediately seated, 2nd time for dinner, walked up & were given a buzzer, told it would be about 45-60 minutes. Not 10 minutes later we were seated. 3rd try was unsuccessful, we had gone to DTD but couldn't get in anywhere (forgot it was Saturday nt) and decided to just go "home". TC was filled and closing at 9pm. So we ended up at Artist Palette-which was very good, we were just hungry, tired and perhaps a tad grumpy at that point.
I would suggest if you think there's any chance that you want to eat there that night, make the adr as a backup plan.
