SSR trip report 5 nights and RUMORS

Thanks for the great trip report. I'll be spending the first 3 nights of my next trip at SSR. Arriving in only 19 days! My original plans changed and changed again, winding up with me at SSR because it was the only place with openings for those 3 nights. I waitlisted for BWV since the rest of my stay will be there, but the waitlist didn't come through.

BUT... I took my parents to see the SSR model when we were down there last month. Wow, the rooms are gorgeous! After seeing the resort and reading your report, I'm excited to try it out there. It will be awesome to walk back and forth to DD. I'll be staying solo at that point, so I can just explore to my heart's content.

We didn't look around the rest of the resort in great detail. Is there only one pool open so far, or are there quiet pools available too? Is the 10% discount at Artist's Palette for DVC members, or for AP holders? How many bus stops are open in SSR so far?

Chris,
The studio has a microwave, just to heat up food. I bought frozen cooked meatballs from home and heated them up for meatball sandwiches. I didn't open up the couch, but there were extra linens in the closet. The CM's were very nice. Got there about 2:45pm, checked in right away.
